Charged Skill Bug with Gamepad (Stuck in infinite charge)

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : Everywhere

Bug Description :
When the bug happen, it’s impossible to release a charged skill. You are basically stuck with a full charge and either have to :

  • be interrupted (“easy enough” if you are a mage with an aggressive monster near you, hardly probable otherwise)
  • switch channel/relog
  • wait 2-3min until the skill finally unleash

This bug occurence is random but happen a lot, when using a controller with certain charged skills. Once it is happening it will happen everytime for a while.

Skills concerned known so far (very likely to happen) :

  • Cartar Stroke (Highlander)
  • Earth Wave (Cataphract)
  • Electrocute (Elementalist)

Skills ‘less concerned’ but still happen :

  • Energy Bolt (Wyzard)
  • Hail (Elementalist)

Skills not concerned for some reason (or very unlikely/never happen) :

  • Lethargy (Wyzard)
  • Ice Bolt (Cryomancer)
  • Freezing Sphere (Elementalist)

The only way to avoid this so far is to use the keyboard for those specific skills. I wish there was a way to at least cancel the charge.
This bug exist since iCBT btw.

This happens for me very frequently with Ice Bolt.

This happens to me as well when using Possession as Sadhu C2

This is happening to me on my cataphract with Earth Wave. Makes the game unplayable for me. Fix this please.

This is happening to me with all Elemenlist spell casts (Hail, Meteor, Eletrocute, etc.)

this always happens to me everytime i use the Steed Charge skill from Cataphract. it’s frustrating and annoying especially when you’re on a quest!

After leveling 5 different characters up to rank 4 and 1 to rank 5 and finally finding one I enjoy, all the while playing with a controller only to find I can’t use one of my main skills (Earth wave), I will be pretty disappointed if this isn’t fixed. Enough to probably quit. I can’t be logging in and 2/3 the time I go to kill stuff and the first thing I’m dealing with is this. In dungeons if it happens it’s embarrassing. PLEASE FIX.

The problem for me was, somehow, putting the charged skill on the jump button (L1+circle, on my shitty usb controller). Ever since I changed it to L1 + triangle, it worked just fine.

This happened to me when I tried to do Ice Wall + Psychic Pressure. It happens to me time to time so I do not really know how to replicate these things. But when it does happen, I can’t even log out. So without further solutions I just close and open the game again.
