“P2P is fine you get quality players” This is not true i wish it was because then i would scream P2P but it just isn’t. Dumb people can have money as well or little timmy stole moms credit card.

Concerning p2p, you may not be assured quality players. However, it is fair for everyone as everyone has paid an equal price for the same experience which results in the same rate of game progression.
Concerning the premium accounts suggestion, how in heavens is that not p2w?

Of course, I don’t agree with his slippery slope and am entirely fine with a cosmetics cash shop.
It’s only when p2w items become included in the cash shop, or when in-game items that players had previous access to are removed only to be included in the shop, then would I have a problem with said cash shop.

cash shop is just a bad idea… hurts in game economy as well… There should just be in game items that we can sell and trade… The shop should not contain items, just services …
A purely cosmetic cash shop is fine, it starts get out of hand when you put items and exp bonuses in there.
@aturner919 Honestly the idea of ToS not having a cash shop when it’s already clear they have iCoin currency built into the game is kind of absurd… but that’s just me. I understand your concern though and it’s valid but…
That being said I’d like for this thread to stay on topic of character customization ideas and how they could be implemented into a cosmetic cash shop. So to everyone arguing about p2p / f2p / whether a cash shop should even exist… there is bound to be a topic that is better suited for that discussion…? I hope! 
@kkanes77 @thebloodyaugust I think non class related costumes make things a bit complicated but I don’t think it’s the same thing as a swordsman straight up wearing a wizard costume. I do think that undermines the uniqueness between the 4 branches and think it’s necessary they keep the class costumes an exclusive feature to keep them all distinct. – I know kkanes didn’t mean any harm by it though, I can sympathize… I’d totally wear female oracle on my archer. hahaha. (perhaps non-class costumes would simply be unallowed in pvp so people always have at least an idea of what branch a player they are fighting is in.)
I hope the cash shop is used exclusively for cosmetic items like this and not upgrade stones which would kill the game instantly.
Would be nice to have cash shop with costumes, dyes, hats and cute pets

Pets are a bit harder to incorporate, considering some classes are based entirely around their pets/mounts/companions. An alternative would be cosmetics for existing pets.
The rest should be fine.

I definitely think that those would make good cash shop items. And I prefer the cashshop to be used for customization. I think cashshop is better than p2p, because it allows ppl with unstable income to contribute money when they can, while p2p for the same ppl will mean they simply can’t play.
I think it would be cool if the cashshops items could be tradeable, so they could be sold to minors or ppl who have financial issues. Both RO and SWTOR allow for cashshop items to be sold to fellow players and the economy doesn’t seem to suffer. So I think it might work.
As for the pets maybe there can be some other than “companion” system, again don’t mean to compare to RO, but just to use some MMOs as references the companions could be more like homunculus and pets could be more like cute porings following you around, or like SWTOR the companions are companions and pets are pets. I think many MMOs implement the decorative-purpose only pets, and I like that. But I’d like it to have some interaction maybe it shows emoticons, or acts like it attacks but misses all the time, I mean it won’t affect the combat, but the animation sure would be cute to die for.

I don’t mind having EXP boost, Drop rate Boost, or Movement speed boost on Cash Shop, as long as those items are account bount or char bound. (Don’t kill me saying it’s P2W. 
) So that the economy is still normal. But those cosmetics items, vanities, pets/companion, can be bought and be tradable, BUT, if its allowed, having time limit(like weekly or monthly). And having an extra item that can extend the duration is good too. But those companion who can be bought on Companion NPC is an exception (no duration like normal). But the difference is, having much better or much cuter companion/pets on Cash shop.
PS: just saying what’s on my mind. Don’t kill me pls. 
I’m wondering if it’ll be like Trickster Online myself.Base class costumes weren’t allowed to be changed [just the colors of them],but your hair style could be,and eyes/basic hair chosen at creation.Their cash shop had mostly scrolls and companion stuff in it,but no costumes.
Because the outfits were so restricted,things like different hairstyles and face accessories always sold for a lot on the in-game market.
well I am sure thats a nice idea, I rather expect to see new skins with changing some skill effects, maybe?

Pets & special emotes are something I might add to the top, but they’re a bit different than character customization… Haha. Wouldn’t mind seeing them though.
Also, I know there’s a lot of cute/cool npc characters I missed so if anyone has screenshots of more examples please hook me up!! I never found Goddess Gabija or Vakarine in game and I bet their character models have pretty eyes… (Probably only see them in kr, so any krbeta players have screens send em to me!)

@yeule dose it not make more sense to you to add a service that you can change your eye shape and height, gender, skin color, hair style etc. If they implement a cash shop for customization it will end in them adding a cash shop for items that are P2W… im telling you now.
