Seed Coins would fit better with the theme of the game.
Or they could use Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf, or Bronze Leaf. That’d be more original.

If so there might be the possibility of it being called iCoin on their site, but when you actually choose which game to credit it to, it may be converted to “Gold” but I think it’s called a NXP in-game in Kr right? So maybe we will get “iCoin” in game, who knows…
iDon’t really like the idea personally. As Grillo said, it reminds me so much with Apple trademark. Wish they don’t get sued over something like this.

Whatever isn’t confusing and can be shortened into an unusual two-character acronym will do.
I’m not particularly interested in originality or whatnot.
Unimportant points
- Do think the name is slightly tacky.
- Don’t think it’s a bad name, it stands out from the game and so will not be confusing to people doing research on it.
- Immersion. People say it bothers them but I’ll say that I doubt most people actually care for more than the amount of time taken to discuss/notice it.
- I agree with Illya’s suggestion. Potato is good. People can shorten it and call it Pot.
- I don’t like Illya from the Fate series. At least she dies a lot. (unrelated)
Id prefer Savior Seeds, or even just using the Gold, Silver, Bronze leaf as you suggested honestly since it ties in with the game in a way. In the grand scheme of things the name of the currency is the last thing I am worried about, but I will say I am not a fan of iCoins at all if that is indeed official.
Yeah that’s true. or call it Tree Bark or sumn. They might decide to change it before the game is set for beta but who knows. Probably won’t change tho…
I would rather guess that the name is purposefully general-sounding because they may have planned to use the same cash shop currency in several games.

This is what google says about “laurels” - honor by adorning with a laurel or presenting with an award.
You receive laurels as a reward. Seems fitting. Laurels are leaves people use to make crowns Ex.
A think iCoin is too ‘appleish’, TOS might need something more original, laurels look better then iCoin

What happened to IMCoins? Reading the Github thread, it seems like that was what everyone thought was clever, and then the staff just decided it’d look cooler without the M. Because M is a lame letter.
Seriously speaking though, I half expected the currency to allude to one of the goddess’ or something, like a Drachlaima. Though, I don’t really care much either way what the money’s called. The name doesn’t really influence what I buy with it.

If they want to make the coin name equal in all their games then I don’t see why IMCoin isn’t the best option.
@Kxizen I loved this option, money is something valuable for everyone and I think Laurels could have the potential if we are talking about plants that someone would treasure.

Whats wrong with just calling it “Gold” in-game. We already seem have sliver and gold implemented, silver being the game currency and gold (apparently) being the cash currency. In KR it seems they changed the name to NXP to match their publisher’s system over there. If IMC follow the same choice as Nexon then we may end up with “iCoin” in-game. But they could just as likely do something similar to WarpPortal where they have their cash points on their site which you can use to credit certain games, meaning we may get something like “iCoin” on the website, but “Gold” in-game.
