Who determines what “having it good” is? Thats a communist way of thinking, no? If our government worked that way, we would be in trouble. I live in a democracy, so standards are not set in stone without having a right to say if those standards are acceptable or not. Settling for mediocrity is never something people should strive for. In games or otherwise. I’m wasting my time blind loyalty and idealism can be deeply embedded, so this is pointless. You win.
Then comes the insults little boy. Debates turn to arguements when one side realizes that they cannot measure up. Also look down the peanuts you speak of are too small to do anything. I out match you there as well, some stereotypes are true, sorry. Blame genes.

THE COMMUNITY.
(The half that reads, anyway…)
As you will note, someone posted a list of gifts of good will for past transgressions from IMC, as well as what IMC clearly knows about and needs to fix.
And as I said, idiots dont bother reading it, so they repeat things that are being taken care of, not knowing how good it is to have a dev who actually fixes things instead of going FULL AERIA / NEXON / Z8 GAMES on us and saying to suck it up while at the same time sending us to the gift shop to buy RNG wares…

Looks like you don’t get my point.
What i’m implying is that at least this publisher is willing to make changes to cater to the players demands.
I’ve played in other MMOs that no matter how much the players whine, no action is being taken by the publisher. Either you accept what was given, or quit the game.
As for bots & goldseller, i’ve yet to come across any publisher that are able to tackle them asap tho. So i can’t comment much on that except for them at least trying to combat it.
well there is a problem if we cant trade or give silver to our alts when there are probably no other mmorpgs that do that.
No, simply not, played both, you’re just going full dramaqueen.
Let them be, they will eventually find a real solution, this is their first time PUBLISHING a game by themselves.
??
Sure.
They had a 3 months plan for the Early Access, we just cried and got 1 month.
Shame.
You see… All they did was work around problems, not exactly solve them. It’s way less work and it has a lot of appeal to people like you. The problems people “whined about” are still there if you look closely, and that’s going to come back and bite IMC in the ass in the long run.
This one is so amusing.
We should totally get over a broken system and think about ways to deal with it. Oh, no, wait, that’s IMC’s job. Crazy, right? People claiming a developer should take care of their own game.
Given that most skills’ texts are weirdly phrased or just plain deceptive, I wouldn’t say people know what they’re getting into if they didn’t read a database before. This is a serious issue, especially for R7 classes.
Now this is a "calm the ■■■■ down"able issue. kudos
IDK, maybe trying to have fun? It might sound weird to you, but some people don’t think this game’s grinding is “hard” - they think it’s just plain boring. Higher level mobs are exactly the same as lower level mobs, only with more HP and damage.
I had to end with this one. It’s not a founder’s fault if the game is not good. Instead of telling people to calm the ■■■■ down and back the game up, while pinning the game’s problems on them (which is what you did), think a li’l bit and you’ll see who’s the one you should be telling to ball the ■■■■ up and solve problems instead of throwing thinly-veiled workarounds.
The publisher? We aren’t dealing with any publisher. IMC are the devs and you simply overglorify what they did.
Yes they listened, why would you applaud to that? Every business has to listen to a GREAT degree to their customers or be out of customers soon.
Most games cannot tackle gold sellers asap, because devs don’t properly invest time into finding problems that will come and learning from other games.
Just look at this idiocy: Diablo 3 came out without anti bot protection. It was implemented like 3-4 months later in a very basic form. Diablo2 was one of the biggest botted games in history at that point. Dev answer? They didn’t know.
The industry is full of devs exactly like that.
Oh LORDY I forgot and I play Trove lol.
Spent $600 on it…regrets.
i think you made a lot of good points but really this is just another ■■■■ post if you have common sense.
They listened to what? lol
All they did was create unnecessary/shitty restriction/ game mechanics (that were not on the betas). Then, everyone complains about the things they created for no reason. So they change a little bit the thing that should not even exist in the first place and the whiteknights say they are listenning to the community o.O
My bad, didn’t bother whether they’re the publisher or developer.
Yes, i’ll agree with you on that. However, not all big shots listened to their customer. Buy they’re doing good, and still is.
If you meant in-game captcha, of all the MMOs i’ve ever played up to-date, i have only seen ONE game implementing that. But it was a MMO that’s been around 10+ years ago and has long closed their shop. (not a fan of Diablo here - their aesthetics doesn’t suit my taste)
Too bad our views are on a different page. Because i’ve worked in the CS & IT department and it’s not easy dealing with lots of negativity from the customer base, and the faulty technical stuffs. That’s my reason of creating the first post. Which i’m too lazy to point out in the first place.
Anyway, the reason i replied back, is because your view also make sense, but maybe in a different chapter. So, thanks for taking the time to read the second half of my lengthier impression unlike someone here that quoted every single point of my first half with what? and accusing me of being a drama queen. (PS : I have also played in cbt2 - i’m not blindly stating anything if you’re still reading my latest post)
Can’t handle people complaining about something? Get over it and think about ways to deal with it.
Stupid ToS crybabies.
Yes of course there are differences, but what I meant got across the norm is you gotta produce for your customer and not with a buy it or gtfo attitude. I mean it starts in the process of ‘Would people buy money for XYZ’.
I didn’t mean captcha I solely meant, that pretty much literally every game comes out without proper protection, because they never researched the games before them properly.
Every MMO nowadays has to fight against bots, why is there not even a spamprotection in place? Spammers are in the market for roughly 8 years there is no excuse to prepare for that properly instead of subjection thousands to spam the block button to a point that even game performance suffers.
Yet people like me write them a nice B2B offer regarding goldselling and generic counselling and you don’t even get the courtesy of an answer. IMC isn’t the first to leave it without answer.
The problem is in the industry itself. They do not value a proper launch, they do not value proper endgame. I understand that at the end of the day they have only so much time to code and coding at the end of the day is a linear process. It becomes better and better over time, but at the very least the industry could take the time and proper prepare or pay for counselling and not write code that will have to be revamped 20 times over because it is flawed by design.
Putting out code that is flawed by design also costs money.
I’m assuming they didn’t bother with your counseling because you didn’t provide any credentials or anything signifying that you’re more than a user with a few short-sighted ideas.
IMC wishes they could be HALF the success of a company like Nexon right now. Nexon didn’t get where it did by churning out ■■■■ games and NOT attending to their playerbase. I know it’s cool to parrot that Nexon and aeria games are MMO dispensers with no soul, but in less than a second I’m positive IMC would swap profit margins with them.
B2B mails are rather short and not a book of ideas you say hello with.
It is more like Hi i am X I do Y can help you with Z would that be interesting to you -> more contact options.
Throwing out ideas would be rather idiotic. There are million ways to solve a design flaw you need to hear their side of the story, get a feel for their capabilities.
For example you could pretty much stop botting by hiring 500 people that will manually observe players non-stop in 2x 12h shifts and do manual live testing. Doesnt mean that IMC could implement it either due to lack of willingness(for good reason) or simply money to finance that.
You can stop botters via map design, hinder them via algorithms, via traps. So as you can see solutions are game specific and need a bit more information than simply playing the game anyway.
No more lag and i dont care about everything else
