Hi there ppl. Now I was thinking of a build but I don’t know the synergy between them. Matter of fact I know no senergy with any classes lol. But here we go… My idea is cleric2, priest1, paladin 3, ?, end game taoist. What should be the filler and is this build viable?
I can tell you somethings. You might go read more about each class in the forums. Taoist is Int base class but Paladin is Str base class, so both of them are not going together.
I don’t know which style do you want to play, so I will give you some ideas.
First, people take Cleric2 because 10 Heal, 5 Divine Might and Safety Zone’s more block attribute - easy pick.
Next ranks, you have to focus on what you want to play.
If you want to be Str Paladin, then you do as these options:
Cleric2 > Cleric3/Priest1/Diev1 > Paladin3 > Pardoner/PD1 > Inquisitor
There are some synergies as following:
- Pardoner sells Barrier scrolls.
- PD1 spreads Conviction.
The other classes are for supporting.
Taoist do have something which Physical classes want though, a 7 sec +50% additional damage to all melee attacks amulet/skill which can use every 24secs.
Assuming you want to play Taoist in your build. Here are some builds I can recommend for PvE.
Krivis3 for meltis and stormcalling combo. For build without Krivis3, you can refer here A variety of Miko-tan Build. However, my conclusion is that Taoist requires Krivis2 or 3 for best output. Builds without Krivis are better off going Inquisitor or Plague Doctor.
-
Cleric3 > Krivis3 > Miko > Taoist.
Sweeping + Divine Might. To maximize the +2 buff to all Taoist skills and magic circle. With hanaming gem, your heal tiles can go up to 18. With the coming addition of 100% proc rate for Guardian Saint to give any of your teammate for 50% damage reduction for 15 hits. -
Cleric1 > Krivis3 > Bokor2 > Miko > Taoist
For pure boss hunting, Mackangdal immunity as you dps burst the boss and retreat before timer ends and safety wall yourself. Rinse and repeat. Especially great against bosses with reflect like Abomination and Rexipher. -
Cleric2 > Krivis3 > Miko > Priest1 > Taoist
Is the current meta for Earth Tower Taoist build. Main reason having Priest for Ressurection. With Priest your heals can hit enemies twice per tile (Do not confuse it as healing allies twice per tile). With minimum backup Aspersion and Blessing when team member dies and resurrected without buffs. Addition of Monstrance to give Physical players a 20% DEX buff. -
Cleric2 > Krivis 3 > Miko > Plague Doctor > Taoist
Having Plague Doctor for more DPS, healing factor to heal yourself when heal tiles are down or placed for your team. Bloodletting to prevent status ailment which is really nice especially certain mobs who can sleep, poison, freeze you. Fumigate can be used to create a poison resistance area.
I wouldn’t recommend Paladin for Taoist builds. As Taoist is best for INT. Unless you are planning to go for an extreme non-meta. A physical Taoist. Which is really bad since only Stormcalling will benefit you.
Hmmm… Perhaps are you planning to be a support Taoist?
Thank you. Lol yes I was going support taoist.
Paladin for Restoration, Resist Element, Barrier were all to be used with mass heal, Monstrance, stone skin, and divine might, and safety wall.
Was thinking of stackable element resistance of Resist element and three disasters. Then work on some CC with other spells.
Every classes in Clerics have some support in them. The greater thing is they have good DPS skills too. So pick some classes just for utilities but left out the DPS will lost their effective.
Well if you think of it, the healing skills are still offensive. Not to mention ressurect is a offensive skill to enemies. Plus TU, and storm.
It is fine. You can do any build. This game is not difficult. But as I said, you might need to read more about each classes. Did you know that your Paladin, Priest, PD will give so many buffs on your teammates and there are maximax buff limits in the game. Those chorno and swordy might hate you.
About the offensive skill, I was talking about smite + conviction combo. And you did not even mention Cure and Turn Undead for your offensive skill set. Paladin was bad until rank 8 because Inquisitor help the Paladin so much. Pick Paladin3 only for the buffs and not even pick Pardoner should be a bad pick.
In this game, the new Cleric players will do full support builds. However in the past, people did those builds and they said those are not good in this game. Cleric need to do DPS as much as Heal. You only need level 10 Heal for the support. The others are optional.
Hi Op
if your goal is to support, I believe you can pretty much throw any class
but as pretty much people said here, paladin is str based and taoist is int based.
You might want to read more further and do more brainstorming what would you like to contribute to your party be it dps or support.
Also note that while 90% people said DPS is as important, it’s up to your choice if you want to make full support without damage and it’s doable but you will definitely need help if you want deal damage
