[Bug or Intended] Wugushi incompatibility with other wugushi

So it had come to my attention that wugushi will have their damage void by another wugushi from this link https://www.reddit.com/r/treeofsavior/comments/4edh83/imc_needs_to_fix_wugushi/

Meaning to say, multiple needle blow casted by different wugushi on a world boss at the same time, only the latest one will be doing damage as the other needle blow got overridden.

I hope you guys can help us get an answer from the Dev because this issue is equivalent(or even more serious) to dragoon skills initial incompatibility while mounted.

For more comparison, take a look between throw gu pot vs broom trap/flame ground/frost cloud etc etc. Multiple sapper can throw their broom trap and not interfere with each other. Like wise wizard can stack their ground “dot”. But wugushi can’t as their poison over ride.

For needle blow, the closest will be other single target dot I suppose. Like skills that cause bleeding/burning. So on this aspect, I guess other bleed/burn skills also suffer the same issue as wugushi.

But obviously the issue is much more apparent on wugushi as it completely render the wugushi class as pointless since EVERY SINGLE attack skill get overwrite.

Hello any reply from the Dev yet? I believe this to be a real legit concern as it totally cancel out a whole class with the current way how debuff works.

Bleeding/Burning is only utilities for other class that can do DoT as they have other skills. Wugushi skills all does poison.

Ya, its bugged, tested today on Glackuman, when i applyed Wugon gu, the poison DoT starts doing 4K each tick, then a friend of mine Wugushi aswell used Wugon gu too then the ticks changed to 2k each tick, and same for Niddle blow, Zhendu, Throw and Jincan… its must be fixed, or all Wugushis will be unable to fight for a boss drop… and its not possible!
We need the fix ASAP!

Man, i’m novice, and yesterday i turn wugushi C1, all my own skills poison stack?

Yep this bug is the only reason I no longer consider making a wugushi, went to circle 3 and then my entire skill got screwed over by circle 1 wugushi? nope thanks.

This overriding system is stupid, if only they let the highest poison skill remain so those that went circle 3 doesnt get screwed over by circle 1.

This is such a situational matter, and there are not even that much Wugushis out there

They do stack, you can use Wugong Gu + Needle Shot and see the beauty of it.

Make the class pointless?? hahah are you crazy man? So what if poison is cancelled by another Wugushi? There’s always another skills to use and that’s a boss/world boss only matter, IF there’s another Wugushi around.

Go to hell man- wugushi bugged cuz we cant do dmg with another wugushi.

Look iam wugushi and the “bug” is related with how debuffs work. Only one type of same debuff will be applyed to a monster. Tecnology is not ready yet.

This isn’t necessarily just Wugushi issue, it affects a lot of jobs. Many Wizard and Cleric skills cannot affect the same monster at the same time… anything that relies on applying a debuff, which turns out is most ground targeted spells that deal damage over time. Not that I don’t think it should be changed, but framing it as a Wugushi only issue would be a bit unfair.

They should make frost cloud work the same way, less elememe groups and more diversity.

I know that Koreans “dont work” weekend … but a response would be welcome

I dont think the guy ever complained about this being a Wugushi only issue. I agree that if you light 2 fires under a boss’ behind he should get twice the damage. Similarly, when you inject some poison into a creature and someone else inject a second dose of the same poison into that same creature there should be absolutely no reason why that second dose should cure the first. I know that common logic often apply only weakly to video games but in that case the reason why things work the way they are is too remote from what should be expected to be accepted at face value.

And the guy petition about wugushi because he plays one (remember that in ToS building a char takes quite a bit of time and he maybe didnt even know the issue existed with orther classes).

What I think however (and this is only a thought as I dont know many builds) is that for most other classes that issue is only a minor drawback as it will affect 1 or 2 skills spread on several classes. In the Wugushi’s C2/C3 case this issue affect the core of the entire build. Out of the 5 damaging skills wugushi possess 3 will be nullified by any C1 wugushi, things get worse if C2 or C3 Wugu are around. This easily cuts down the single target dmg potential of a Wugu by 60% when it is actually the Wugushi’s purpose in life.

It’s not a Bug. Plague Doctors and even Featherfoots suffer the same deal. There’s a few MMO that do the same thing. Some are worse then others. Hell some even push your debuffs off at a certain point when there are too many debuffs on the boss.
