Make your voice heard!

We all love the game. But we need to do the right thing here. I suggest you to refrain from buying the founders pack until we get confirmation on EU servers and character transfer.

I wish they would have considered the European population beforehand. They did not. We need to show them that we will not accept a mediocre game experience.

Make your opinion heard!

dood, US is the center of the world. With limited fund, I don’t blame em for picking the center over other corners. From what I know, IMC is a fairly small company, so either play or get over it.

What are you gonna do, not play? Yeah right.

At least wait until tomorrow with those big plans, Julie said the higher-ups will give us more official info on next working day.

If you check the moderator tab you can see that the concerns for an EU server are heard by IMC. They are currently talking about plans regarding them I suggest you to check the posts Julie wrote there.

Boycotting them is shooting yourself in the foot, the only way IMC as to see if a EU server is worth their time and money is by the number of EU players playing their game.

Haha. Stop QQing. Men don’t cry. =)))

If they see europeans already bought the pack, what reason do they have for opening EU server?

Because they see they have a EU fan base ready to spend money on their game and will probably spend more if they pander to them making a EU server worth the effort?

why would you want a eu server, just see how the US server will play for you first before you start complaining about lag. EU servers always die out first compared to US ones. and thats from someone coming from the netherlands saying this. i really dont see the point in a EU server. splitting communities amongst even more servers.

How about, calm down. I am from Europe, too.
Lately IMC does a really good job as it comes to public relations. There are still 8 days to go. Tomorrow is said to have an announcement but please do not get impatient.
They actually care for us at the moment and meetings, decisions, plans and announcements take their time as wrong little error has proven itself to easily cause an uproar here. There will be clarity soon enough.

I pray for (paid) character transfer if there will be an EU server soon. Better than rushing a server for or after release now (although mirroring is quite easy). Would be by far the easiest solution and if it is a paid transfer we could also deliver our fair share for the server setup costs. Something like 10€ per character would be fine in my opinion. It is cheaper than gaming vpn and fair for everyone who cares for ping.
Then people could happily buy the founder packs, enjoy the game, keep the cash flowing and reinvest for better conditions later on. IMC happy, founders satisfied, money secured. This also gives a lot of time to plan the server.

Unsatisfied customers can still revoke their order before 29th.

I’m from The Netherlands aswell but don’t agree with you. EU servers usally are more crowded then the longer games are alive.
And also the ping is much better for a EU server and in ToS ping does matter alot for some certain skills unfortunatly

Also never underestimate the gaming market if you count Russia into EU.

Guy from Europe here. No.
Dont drag most of us EU folk to this crap. Thats my opinion.

Since so many EU players have voiced their opinions on EU servers. I suggest that IMC get a EU publisher and add a region block so that we can finally stop having these threads.

I just prefer a EU server but if not i just play US server, but this thread is riddiculous boycotting? lolz

So every opinion counts. And everyone can have his/her own.
But: I wont Boycott anything!

I am european (germany) But I for once want to play on iTos.
I have friends in sea for example. We will play on iTos together.
Sorry but I have no interest playing on an euTos.

My ping was okay to play with in cbt2. So no complain on my sides.

I hope you get your euTos. At least you all would stop complaining/nagging/demanding.
But please: to call for a boycott…
I am out, I am too old for that s***

Boycotting won’t accomplish anything in this case. It’ll only have the opposite effect. If all Europeans boycott IMC, they’ll see no reason to cater to the Europeans since they show no interest anymore. You can really say goodbye to a EU server then.

Of course, it’s 100% reasonable to not buy the Founder’s Pack until you’re sure you can play on a EU server. There is nothing wrong with that at all. But don’t call it a boycott, because that’s not what it is (or should be)

Well, lets see… constant whining, flaming and bad reputation because everyone outside of the US plays on 300+ ping with their “international” release? What we are talking about here will be a game breaking issue for most players under normal circumstances.

Which is the typical move if you want to shoot yourself in both legs at the same time, since they released international and in this setup the great majority of their playerbase will have dreadful ping.
Besides of that, they opened 4 US servers, so your argument has failed from the get go. This is simply bad planning. Would they have opened just one single server out of the 4 within the EU, there would be no drama now, but thats not what they choose to do, is it?

  1. You are boycotting both too late and too soon. a.) Too late because everyone already bought the packs. b.) Too soon, because new information may come within the next few days.
  2. Nobody will care enough to skip on the game. Everyone will buy, play and then whine and moan later because their pings are horrible^2.
  3. Have a bit of common sense. There is no end to threads and complaints about the EU server, weeks before just the beta of the game launched. Do you seriously think that IMC is not getting painfully aware of the issue?

SEA players get around 200-300 ping, and we didn’t cry.
EU players get around 100-200 ping.
And some of them are crying so hard.
