You have a history of being in a party with a friend, being in the same clan, chatting with each other, Likes, previous trades. This is not hard to detect.
Further, the characters that are RMT selling are generally not players and as a result do not have achievements, do not run dungeons, do not have high level characters. These should be big red flags when it comes to trading items that are higher level. Why would an account with only a level 50 character have a Manamana?

Sorry but itâs still not that simple. Even if they were to check parties you have been into, friend lists, and previous trades (which would also result in an unnecessarily complicated algorithm for allowing trades), there would still be flaws with the system.
The game is F2P, a person can decide to make two accounts instead of just one so they donât have to buy character slots with TP. Then when they decide to trade some equipment between their accounts theyâre going to get flagged as RMT.
Thatâs just an example but there are thousand others that make such system impossible and impractical.

The only way to combat RMT is to accept it and instead focus on things players want.
Full circle resets. Stat resets. Skill resets. Costumes. EXP boosters (not the awful additive +30%).
Then you need to create your own RMT system. Tokens, for example, is the RMT version for IMC. You can buy tokens, put on market place, get the money instantly.
The problem is there is so much money in the game right now, that a token isnât worth $9. Itâs worth about $6.
Not to mention their founders pack gave an insane amount of TP for $25. So until all those tokens wear off, and that TP is finally used up, then maybe the market stabilizes back to $9.
But never forget the most important rule.

RMT will not be able to stop, they still can sell item and recipe in RMT.
rmt pretty much fvcked us all by this limitation. 2 day wait is just really long. if you happen to see a good deal in the market then youâre fvcked. sad how this people who do rmt makes the game have this frustrating things
Its very simple to have a GM with the ONLY job of banning bots. 2h per day searching for bots on the maps is enough.
IMC is just lazy. just look at how everything is coded and how every feature of the game is designed.
there will always be RMT. itâs just a matter of devs/publishers finding more ways to put these people at risk.
or better yet, they should just kill the competition. if they make TP items more tradeable, people would rather spend on TP and sell it for in-game silver which is pretty much the same thing.
tl;dr: take out trading restriction and track RMTâs more vigorously

The only way to stop this is to stop buying from them. On the company side, they should ban the buyer as well (i know itâs not an easy thing to do, but doing it one at a time would do.) so the items/silvers bought will be useless. BOT/RMT is the same. They will ruin the game.
