Bot/RMT/Shout-chat blocking app

is this legal to use?

Couldn’t care less.
It works, that’s what matters for me.

Creator’s note:

Use this at your own risk, if IMC decides this is against their terms of service, your account could potentially be banned for using this.

That being said, they would need to scan your computer for the process in order to determine if you’re running it as it does not modify the client
or any of the files related to the client.

Thanks for sharing, gonna check it out :3

This is genius!

Somehow i cant use it. It Tells me some DLL’s are apparently not working and i need to reinstall the program. So no i wont reinstall ToS for that xD

P.S. I dont know why it tagged u as a “reply to” sorry xD

You do realize you don’t need a program to block the shout chat ? it can be done in-game …

Download the .exe from microsoft page posted by author.

You do realize that once I have to click the shout, the damage has already been done.

RMT scam / spam has already did its purpose.

Thank you

Upsie so people can see.
Plop.

Does this resolve the stutters at all? There is a little “megaphone” icon on the left side of the chat box you can click that turns off all the shouts too. What is the difference between that and this?

What if i told you that disabling something is not a fix?
What if i told you that you can disable shots without installing anything? You just need to tick it off.
What if i told you that IMC could remove shouts in 5 minutes too, because it takes next to nothing to remove something?

If you block the megaphone ingame, it still shows in chat, and still causes lag.
This stops the megaphone messages from reaching the game whatsoever (or atleast i think so), hence there’s no fps stutter occuring. I’m not the author, just reposting.

Atleast for me, it made the fps and game alot more enjoyable, so if they want to ban me for using an outside app for their incompetence, they have serious problems with addressing the right issues.

What if I told you, that 1) yes, in current state it is. 2) Ticking it off still causes fps stutters, and spam floods the chat. 3) no, they’re money greed monkeys, who’d rather put all the other limitations on normal players fighting RMT, rather than just limit them at the root of the problem.

Go be dumb someplace else, or get your facts straight before sh*tposting.

Sure is son, remember the time we fixed your bike by telling you never to use it again? Such good times.

[/quote]Protip: if you get spam flood, you didnt turn it off… kinda by definition, but i guess this needs to be pointed out for you

I congratulate you. Not only has the first part of the sentence nothing to do with the latter, it borderline contradicts it. Because nothing satisfies sales better than screwing with the playerbase, am i rite?

Want some water on those burns of yours or do you enjoy the feeling of charred skin?

Go back to twitch chat, or whatever hole you crawled from.

  1. yes - take my bike away, fix it until its safe to use again, and give it back. I wouldn’t mind.
  2. Again - spam at the top of the screen has nothing to do with chat tab, which still causes fps stutters.
  3. Yes, it contradicts itself - so does IMC policy. Limiting everything for players, from mob spawns, to trading and 48 hours delay on auction house - yup, they’re hurting players while trying to limit RMT and keep more money for themselves. Player’s population leaving due to the changes seems unimportant. But megaphones are still ingame, because they generate profit, even tho they’re a major problem. But everything else seems to be a bigger concern. :’)

Again - crawl back to twitch chat or whatever meme hole you crawled from. Don’t bother replying, go whiteknight someplace else.

It doesn’t disable shout chat. It filters it.

Good catch. I didn’t mention that. I thought that such an omniscent sarcastic heavy-meme know-it-all 17 years old highschooler would be clever enough to read the reddit post.

This is a packet spoofing filter. It modifies the network data coming into the client, hence the violation to EULA and is a ban-able add on.

Although I doubt any actual enforcement.
