Boosters P2W or not?

Of-course I do you want the game to be a charity game for people who has no life.

Ah a NEET at its finest. What a hypocrite when it favor you its fair but if it doesn’t it is unfair

I can’t no life the game, I have work, college and other responsibilities. You don’t know me, or a vast majority of users on this forum to call anyone anything.

I will end up buying cosmetics and exp boosters to stay on par, but I don’t expect to be on par gear wise with people that are constantly clearing content. That just doesn’t make sense?

Zombifier is right, the typical no life losers are just more vocal than those who works like us. But don’t worry my friend IMC aren’t dumb to listen to those people anyway, All they do is whine like usual anyway.

Sorry guys, I think someone should read this before continuing to post.
“You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But, remember to criticize ideas, not people.”
“Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive, or hate speech.”

Depends on the drop rates…

Nothing is free, if someone have both time and money. then it’s someone ELSE have to work for that person.

Now you are guys talking about your life… just cut this out.
You are boring. :octopus:

Since this thread is just a repeat of the other one and it’s going no where…

It all depends on the hidden class system. Please don’t turn this isn’t a hidden class thread, as there are already plenty, but if hidden classes are easily obtainable at the final ranks, boosters are essentially pay2win in the sense that they are, by default pay2gettherefirst.

I’m all for boosters, as I don’t mind supporting the company in exchange for less of my life wasted grinding, but I’m against them if it gives people a monetary-fueled advantage on others in regard to exclusive content.

The biggest problem, in my opinion, with pay to accelerate models is the inherent trust issue between the Consumer and the Developer, adressed in this question:

How can I know if this game i’m experiencing is secretly tweaked and tailored to bias me towards a purchase?

The true answer is: You cannot.
In the wake of the mobile market most freemium games have been proven to have mechanics that try and force you to buy their “Booster”, should we really assume that IMC wouldn’t do the same? Should we assume that they don’t want money?

What this means to ToS would be making the game extremely grindy to make the boosts seem more appealing.

I agree with you, but still think that gold and also drop rate booster are the same as exp booster, we just accept exp booster more because anywhen the level is max xD. I think they are both also pay to accelerate because you can reach both and also win without, just slower. pay to win would be, if you can buy items that have better stats than the normal items.

it also would make less sense, as we are trying to find the goddesses

define status, is it “bonus exp” or “+3 agi” because the “bonus exp” is okay, but “+3 agi” is something different. if we say, there are no other costumes with such bonus status like +3 agi available with ingame money, then it is pay to win, as people are able to get better stats than people who didnt pay for it.

it stays the same, you will just feel you wont come fast further without paying it, but it is still not p2w. its like Pi is an endless number but it will be always smaller than 3.15 and i think the same relation is it with p2a and p2w.

It may not be P2Win it’s techncaaly more like P2P

Wings are awesome! There should be a class (hidden class) with wings.

Like Dragon Rōnin with 2h long sword and close distance teleport just like Para-bindu in Frank’s Herbert Dune also using one (from few to chose) breath weapon (and some flying ability)
I think ill add this to Class concept thread.

If there are exciting end-game dungeons/raids/loot/etc-type things, there will definitely be a desire for boosters, and given that experience is something you can earn whether you pay for it or not, so it wouldn’t exactly be ‘game-breaking’. But there is no way that EXP boosters will be a cause for concern on ‘breaking’ the game and there is no way that they will be the main source of the developer’s income~ ^o^

Do not mess with this magnificent and perfect game! NO P2Win NO LEVELUPGAMES BR!

Na, it doesn’t give you any raw power. Therefore, I don’t think it is P2W.

I am glad you opened the hell again , can we close this thread?

with the player ranking, boosters will be considered pay2win by those people who dream of being those at the top of the ranking

More like p2kuwpwnj (pay 2 keep up with people with no job)
