Black priest clothing is a “casual” attire, when priests walk around for non-religious purposes. During masses, home visits, and processions, they dress in white.
That’s how it is in Catholicism, the main Lithuanian religion.

Actually depends on religious.

Since ToS world doesn’t prays to Christian’s God nor any gods anyone prayed in the real world, it’s pretty much designed as Maggi see it fit. 100% fiction 100% creativity as long as it look good~

you know the funny thing is when i play cleric for the first time… i always feel like i will take a bath or something, their outfit is similar with a bathing cloack

add some hood on it and it will easily became a cloack for demonic ritual or something like that

its scares me sometimes, but it also funny at the same time, so yeah… i wont wear my cleric costume ever >_<

You’re comparing the Cleric’s outfit to Priests though.

The Priests ingame wear black just like most Priest depictions otherwise. “Cleric” on the other hand is a VERY wide term that can apply to pretty much any religious (catholic) individual, so the choice of clothing is entirely down to the one who designed the Clerics in this game, in this case IMC’s Character Artist.
