That’s a good idea actually (: that way we wont be so jittery at a certain time and plus its less stressful for the staff to (i mean… is it actually possible to send keys all at once? xD unless there is like 5000 people working there and they all send it at the same time lol.)

It’s possible to send all the keys at once. They have a server to do that.
And any kind of mail service can do that too (Cc and Bcc), but I don’t know the limit of address per mail.

I’ve been in a several Alpha and Betas over the years, the emails usually come in waves so you don’t have 5000+ people trying to hop on at the same time and flood starting areas.

There’s usually a morning, afternoon, and evening key release. Open Betas on the other hand tend to allow people in all at once to stress test their login servers and prepare for launch day.

Which means it’s 7.20am EDT now. EDT is 12h behind me so it’s easy for me to remember.

I dunno, the announcement just stated the registration for beta keys ends at 12 A.M. EDT on July 30th… they didnt mention any distribution time…

    Friday, July 31, 2015
    For those selected as Beta Testers, you will receive Beta Keys through e-mail and you will also be able to check the keys in the Official Website.

It depends on the service they’re using to send the keys. AFAIK, the usual is 2000 per mailing with 1 min of delay between mailings.

Now is 08:35 EDT, I guess they will send them between sometime now until 17:30 EDT (normal office hours, at least in my country) so take it easy xD

The hype in me is exploding, really want to get a beta key. Hope they release some kind of news.
