In just about every mmo I’ve played, I ran with the support/healer class. I wanna switch it up in this game by going the class that has the most damage potential for PvE. Mostly just looking for massive mobbing damage.
Easiest to mob with: anything Peltasta. It has the only AoE taunt currently in the game (with Centurion being removed).
Highest AoE: Elementalist (most likely, although this might be up to debate).

Centurion is going to be removed from the game i think 
Sapper+Fletcher is also a good choice
you need mats and you have to be careful where you set your traps, since enemies will attack them when they get in range if they don’t have another target
The last statement is it will be put in later rank, nothing about removing them lol

Does anybody know if Peltasta and Hoplite have good synergy? Anybody has a good build? I’m interested in a Hoplite that can mob alright.

why wouldn’t they have synergy? both use spear and shield - so no lockouts-, active block with shield and taunt is great for pve, and you can take both into cataphract if you want to.
all in all you have great boss damage, fairly good survivability, the ability to mob/tank for your friends while still being able to farm solo if you get the right build
Your ele3 link is the same as Pyro3?
