lol i wouldnt announce that on the forums, you can get banned from having that ( i think)
Nah, it’s fine to use. The server only sends data in the normal radius around a character’s position regardless of it being zoomed in or out. iow you can’t see characters, etc. from outside of what you would normally see without the addon. 
99% most mmorpg ban people for any type of zoom addon.

I don’t use zoomy myself but I am pretty sure it’s one of the “ok” add-ons. I haven’t heard of anyone in the ban-wave having been banned due to that one.

The exp one was stated to be acceptable by the GM team at some point. I do wish they were a bit clearer about which ones are approved and which ones aren’t.
is there an add-on that zooms in? we need it for pantsu thread.

As far as “Is Zoomy Add-on allowed” (I have it myself but often forget to use it but it is very nice. I kinda loathe the close up we get stuck with) IMC has stated that any Add-On that they feel goes against their policy, will be posted in their news feed. Players have til Maint to get rid of said add-ons before facing 30/Perm Bans. Only Add-on I know of that surprises me is still here is, Auto-Pot making Sorcs able to afk “bot”.

Huh… If you take a closer look, all “rocks” in this screenshot that are outside of the walking area are the same… same texture, same shape. Interesting how on this map they simply reused the same small rock structure over and over and just rotated/elevated/scaled it in different ways and still made it look so different

There are no “instantly illegal” add-ons now until IMC says such an add-on is, and I think you don’t get insta-banned unless it’s gravely gamebreaking (e.g. cxAnywhere).
If IMC deems an add-on as “not allowed”, they’ll announce it, give players enough time to uninstall/remove said add-on, and then start banhammering those who are still using it after the set deadline.
Ones that were preivously confirmed as “not allowed” AFAIK is cxAnywhere and any auto-pot add-on.
Nice shots by the way. Should’ve thought of doing this while I was still playing.

Wow amazing project , would u mind share the add-on? I would like to use it only for those type of shots got dam.
I think that only applies to FPS/MOBA games like CS:GO, battlefield 4, overwatch, league of legends, smite, etc
The Add-on is called Zoomy. Just google it.
