Take Star Citizen for example, people are putting a lot of pressure for that game to come out and rightfully so given that so many people invested a lot of money on it. However, that is not making them rush anything, is it?
Also, saying Nexon forced IMC to release ToS is just silly and nothing but speculation or did you hear it from hakkyu kim?

Its not the community’s fault that lead this forum to be toxic, It’s IMC, they screwed the game, they lied to us over and over again and what do you expect? Praise them like gods for their hardwork?? With their lack of support and communication with the community this game will definitely fall if nothing is done.
And who says I dont like the game, I like the game but IMC makes the game almost unplayable for its players.

If you check the Q&A or old threads, a lot of people were asking to get the latest KR updates, we got them, with bugs, because rushing.
Sure, tell IMC to refund my founder’s pack and I will leave until the game is fixed. In the meantime, I will be complaining that the game is broken.
The game didn’t come with a note warning people it was barely playable when I bought my founder’s pack.

I played several games from the start, and all had problems, much the same as the ToS is having.
They are here complaining because they LIKE Tree of Savior. So telling them to just leave is a big mistake. What you should really worry about is if no players will give feedback to the company and leave because they don’t care anymore. Considering that these reports are legit.
So take their complaint as unhealthy but necessary feedback and a voice that IMC really need to up their quality. Once these complainers, including myself, stop complaining about these issues, IMC is going to close down for sure with 50 martyr players left.

Its not as if the game was perfect until you spent on the founder pack or anything, if it was I would agree with you that it was a dirty move from IMC but it wasn’t really the case, the game wasn’t perfect or anything.
Also, when you purchased it, you should have known about the refunding possibilities and considered waiting a bit before spending, or at least pick the cheapest founder pack if you were only trying to access the game during the early access days, that way you wouldn’t have to worry about wasting a lot of money on it.
That being said, you don’t lose your founder pack for leaving the game until its fixed, you still keep your virtual property and you are allowed to come back later for it.

There’s a difference between feedback and trashtalking, that’s what people on the forums should understand.
Constructive criticism is something very different than 90% of this forum does.
I’m not saying IMC screwed the game coz of bugs alone, but also look on how they manage the game, the overall performance and availability to play (restrictions, optimization, exploits etc). All of this are well-maintain in other games without punishing its players and most of all the security of the game. Meanwhile in ToS its almost unplayable and people can easily manipulate game files with a simple click.

Any game can be hacked, the effort required for it varies on the other hand.
As it has been mentioned earlier, the trade restriction is caused by the bots, if they go around banning anything that “looks like a bot”, we will go back to the days of banning innocent players and I don’t really think you want to be one of those, currently they are carefully investigating character by character for not only NA, but EU & SA as well, it is not an easy task.
remember that bots exists because:
-Players are funding them to keep their business profit positive.
-The game itself was over hyped at the start, which made gold selling websites look at ToS as a gold mine.
And let’s be honest here, if you are currently mad, its because of the current maintenances and the bugs, and not because of those managing mistakes that were addressed long ago on other threads.

I’ve never played a game that struggled this much for this long in my life. Rocky launch? Yeah, sure. Almost every game I’ve purchased recently has had a rocky start. In fact, most of my early access games have progressed better and faster than TOS.
I am not saying the devs are fully sh1t, they have listened to the community a few times.
Where’s their communication to calm things down? Instead, you guys have to come here to unsuccessfully try to tell people they’re teenagers and stupid and the likes.

They are hurt on these issues by IMC. That is why they complain in the first place and toxicity goes wilder without any response. I agree with constructive criticism but look at how IMC is doing. I don’t expect myself to be calm when I voice my complaint and is being ignored. There is ZERO communication being done besides the bot GM.

I’m wondering how long are you going to protect IMC mister deny. Your argument about “they all had a bad run at the beginning” is true, but they had not the same problems during almost 1 year. Even RO which had a bad start fixed it really fast. IMC were not prepared and failed over and over.
And because other kMMO are doing bullshit they have to follow their way to work ? I thouht this game had not to be a copy of other MMO (it’s what people are saying most of the time to defend ToS issues in general). Interesting point of view.
Oh, and yes IMC obviously lied to people with their trailers, so blame founders is really insulting for them.
