I have played Ragnarok quite a bit in my life just never went far in levels/content wise so its hard to really say I’m a true Ragnarok player so to speak. Lol I did hop around Pvt servers a lot…
Yeh I’m from iRO Loki. I like this type of game a lot.
I’m also waiting for their GvG implementation. Guild Wars are pretty fun, but there’s something nice about a structured competition with real rewards that motivate people to get involved. People from RO are hoping for something like WoE as well, I wonder how they will do it?
Here’s where I wait for the thread-trolling kitty to chime in 'cuz he doesn’t like RO.

I came from RO from like 2005 to 2007 good times with my wiz, but I was too young for completely understand the game infact I took a break for 5 years and then one day I come back but this time not in the official :c
And now there’s TOS which I want to play so badly.
I played RO a bit but wasn’t there during it’s peak sadly. Kinda hoping i experience that with this game
I don’t even think I played on the official servers at all either.

I’m not one of those.
I came for the grind (which is not seen often in MMOs nowadays), the graphics (that to me look similar to FF Tactics) and the soundtrack, which I believe it’s the kind of soundtrack that forces people to play again (just like Granado Espada).
Been on RO since beta. I find I have next to nothing in common with the post-WoE generation. Having played without PvP, I still prefer dungeon crawls like Endless Tower and Fallacious Olkonir where teamwork and party synergy is a greater focus over trash talk and drama.

on release, p2p RO, no cash shop, only 99 levels, hard to level up, mvp hunts, turtle island, glast heim, good times =)
i started playing RO in it early years ( maybe 1999 ) befor trolling become popular on the internet… hooo god i missed those years
yep, RO was my 1st MMO, and i stayed with it for almost 6 years. ( 2003 - 2009 ) before i started jumping around other MMOS ( WoW, EvE, DaOC, Vanguard ) you name it.
till this day, i still consider it to be the best experience MMO i have ever had

Probably played for 10 years before calling it quits.
Just heard about this game yesterday and the nostalgia and all is fueling my hype for it.
I know so little about this game despite watching some videos.
Is the game kinda like a cross between Diablo 3 and RO?
Are most maps instances or shared world?
How is the critical reception so far?
