It would be awesome in PvP! In addition to hilarious, would overpower if the player dominate perfectly the class.
any idea which class it’ll branch out from?
I think it should be under Mage tree, with the puppeteer class?
i hope so, really dont wanna bother leveling in a swordie or archer tree -_-
Bad news guys(or good, depending on how you view it), Mimic will probably be a Rank 11 class.
Gonna be a tough road for us.
Rank 11? omg! But would not just up to rank 10?
One thing that bothers me from the start tho, regarding mimic in mage class tree as they planned, i saw rogue had the capabilities to steal people magic circle, arent that more like the mimic/jester?also here is my opinion, if mimic is literally in wizard tree, which skill of other classes that they literally useful to mimicking?i mean they already in wizard tree,it couldnt be possible that we wizard mimicking cyclone? Or something from swordman tree and cast it with staff?or maybe something archer casted and recast it without bows?or priest class only skill that literally useful for mimic to ‘mime’?like buff and stuff?
Thats why this is been bothering me quite a while
Because it would be more make sense if the mimic class in archer or swordman class,at least they can make something fun literally… in mimicking wizard skill,i mean right?
They prolly have a sharingan or something.
probably starting with a paladin here
new classes
and i dont want the mimic to copy abilities, as a cleric, they can copy my heals and my sadhu out of body, the monk kahmehameha and thats just too op. (unless they get the ability without points in it)
this is my build
Maybe it works similar to the mime act in Final Fantasy. maybe skills being like
Mimic Visual- Mimics the last skill within your view range
Mimic Hit- Mimics the last skill you got hit by
Mimic Magiical,Phyical - Simular to above but mimics last physical or magical move.
Mimic Support- Mimics last support move used
that’s my guess on how they will play
Yeppp Cuteeee
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
well that exactly what im trying to point at lol
its just bother me how wizard got mimic in their tree
i mean if mimic already inside wizard tree what use of em aside from mimicking cleric tree skill?
is not like they can use archer tree skill without equiping a bow? right? or maybe im the one in the wrong thought here?
or had to equip sword and casting crappy dmg mimicked skills from swordman tree?
the only synergy they had is they mimicking some cleric tree skills that mostly supporting skill which is really kills mimic’s reputation lol
thats why its bothering me because it shud be in swordman tree or archer tree, that way they can at least cast lesser wizard spell with some magic equipment switching, and sure as hell as wizard or cleric will kinda “WTF is that my skill” ? isnt he equiping bow? lol
clerics use a sheild and mace/hammer/whatever that thing is
maybe the mimics weapon is a weapon that mimics other weapons changes based on the skills mimicked idk the mimic may even go as far as to (Mimic)its target to the point they changed their appearance and weapons ext .
when looking the definition of a Mimic this was what made me think this
5. a copy or imitation of something.
maybe the mimic transforms and uses what skills but as another point stated out
3. to be an imitation of; simulate; resemble closely.
which could mean if it does maybe either they get a handful of skills from the target or they have them but have penaltys less damage longer cooldown of them or something
I think whatever way they decide to do it . it would be a very interesting experience for a class
I think having a mimic in the wizard tree is very clever because they are magic class so there probably can “invok” a circle that can throw arrow (for archer skills) or “invok” a magic bow/sword or whatever, just for the skill animation and simply have some stats on the skill about damages.
Or it could be in the attributes : “Physical Mimic enhanced : add a str bonus / damage bonus / % bonus each level”
I really feel that it can be very interesting!
im only pumped caused of the female costume
