Any tips on a Melee build without DEX Saturation for survival?

Oh I see that I didn’t notice at all. Well my point for swordsman 3 was the fact that I was planning to do a fully saturated gungho along with a fully saturated concentrate so that I won’t have to rely on skills for dps. The knock down/away part is actually more emphasized on the rodelero which means I’ll have to rely more on my raw dps on normal attacks than pure skill usage through the 3 circles. Well if somehow, that really is a freaking bad idea of being a minimalist in order to avoid both heavy usage of HP and SP potions then I might as well go take peltasta for extra skills to use.

yeah I haven’t found a compelling reason to stay the same job except on maybe things like cleric where you wanna have max heal? also divine might in circle 2 might be the strongest buff in the entire game…

I see, welp I guess I’ll just try whatever out for the next CBT if both will commit wipe anyways haha

Archer3 > all starter classes except for Cleric

This is my plan if I’m going Squire: Tank Squire
And the Stats will be: 3Con 2Spr

I’m building it as a pure meat shield. So I need Con for my HP and Def and Spr for mana and Magic Resist.

Not all boss and mobs only apply Physical damage, so as a Meat Shield for the party, you need to be ready for those who uses Magic attacks.

This build doesn’t have Str nor dex because I’m planning it to be pure meatshield. I will let party members do the DPS while I take aggro and damages.

I know this will be hard to level at early game but hey, if you have a plan, do it, endure the trials behind it, and taste the sweet fruit of your labor. :yum:

Since I see a lot of replies about CRIT DAMAGE and CRIT RATE. I would like to ask a question:

Say for example I do a pure STR stat build for my archer then got skills which boosts CRIT RATE. Naturally, my accuracy is going to be low since I did not invest any points on DEX, but I have CRIT damage from pure STR and CRIT rate from skills. So my question is this, do CRIT attacks ever miss? Do CRIT attacks need accuracy to hit? I am asking this since in the old-school RO, CRIT type assassins did not rely on DEX to hit. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer.

it’s fairly hard to test right now cause you can not get enough crit rate without getting dex to really be able to tell clearly.

for hopelite all you would need is endgame enemy accuracy since you get a crit profile for free.

150 crit from finestra isnt enough to crit enough to get clear results. maybe with a bunch of level 10 gems… id need a ton of money to test.
