lol below 10 fps … what computer are you using ? an old comodor 64 ?

& i dont have a guild at the moment so i can speak for that … but i never reach 10 fps … not even during a world boss

Just because you don’t have issues doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

i never went into a boss fight, but I’m the same way as the @msoulon, most part of the game i can reach 50~60fps, only at the worst days my fps goes down to 38~49fps.

When the SA server transfer is completed, i gonna try to fight a boss and tell what happens.

EDIT: see my Leptop configurations
Intel Core i7-4500 CPU @ 1.80Ghz 2.40Ghz
8GB Memory RAM DDR3 1300MHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

It is not a laptop for games definitely

mm, and ? There is a lot of people with fps issues, u should have noticed this if u spend any time on the forums and a lot of em supposedly have beast computer’s. Take it however u want but the game has optimization issues.

I drop down to 40ish during a world boss. It kinda bothers me that this is happening when tos isn’t even as graphically-demanding as the other games that I’ve played.

look i understand ppl who want to have a better fps than under 20 … but if you are under 20fps … maybe your computer suck ?

but that not my point … what i dont understand is ppl who hope to have a 200 fps … wtf your eye can even see that …

Those ranges of FPS are acceptable, true, but something tells me you haven’t participated in a WB or GvG yet.

Everyone stutters to a crawl at those choke points. I go from a smooth fixed 60fps nearly everywhere down to 5fps in congested WB fights, and more than once (at a dulla fresh after maintenance) experienced a complete freeze for several minutes (how 100+ users squeezed into one boss room on the channel is beyond me). And that is even with changing everything to the lowest possible setting and even trying to manually limit the number of actors present on-screen via user settings.

The fact the title isn’t optimized is just that; a fact. Playing the game normally you may only notice the drops in FPS when a spammer (hilariously) shouts 50x or there are 2-10 proximity bots in-town in /s spamming. That directly relates to why the game cannot handle WB or GvG atm; everything everyone does directly affects your FPS via packets.

tl;dr? Normal game play isn’t an issue and those frames are standard, acceptable, and A-OK. WB and GvG? Get ready to see what everyone actually complains about with FPS issues/optimization.

Click above and view any GvG you want from the list. I assure you not everyone participating has a potato and some are even top-of-the-line PCs. It’s just how ToS handles the net code sadly.

Eh I can full admit my PC is far from being a top notch gaming PC and I don’t care about getting 200fps, 30fps would be just fine with me. But no matter how I look at it, ToS doesn’t seem like it would be utterly demanding of your PC.

I believe a lot of people would get a lot out of being able to disable other people and their dmg and what not.

edit: Oh also do note, I get a solid 60-80fps ( yes i know sad ) in not so crowded area’s, majority of the problems comes from world boss’s with other people’s skill effects and dmg numbers taking over half the screen.

lol dont worry my computer is brand new … bought it only to play tos… hahah & it cost 1800 … so im not mad
i only made that post because i saw alot of fps tread on the forum

highest is 144hz monitor so not sure if getting 200+ even helps

and my pc is probably better than yours

3x titan x on sli
i7-5960x

surely I can easily get 100+ fps when I’m in the middle of nowhere, but at the place where there’re many people my fps drops lower than 20 which shouldnt be the case for such a top notch pc.

My PC is built and pretty good, runs every other game fine minus some older ones, but sometimes this game runs terribly. It’s an issue. Especially for a game that has a GvG aspect haha.

Even if it does run fine on a good computer, an mmo of this scale shouldn’t be locked into that. It’s never a bad move for a company to make sure as many people as possible can run the game and enjoy it without being inhibited by bad optimization.

Post your fps next to a 100+ player mob in fermidian marketplace ch1.
If you go under 60, pple with mid tier pcs will cry.

Yeah his fps will be ~18

Can someone post a screenshot of their amazing fps in ch.1 Fedimian near AH? Now THAT is comparable to prime time world boss or GvG.

High fps on an empty map means nothing.

EDIT: Oh, someone beat me to it :frowning:

if you like to play frame by frame. good for you.

I’m completely ok with the FPS drop, it is bearable.

At the beginning of the exclusive access it was terrible, now the game is pretty smooth imo.
