Iā€™m pretty positive it shouldnā€™t be considered as botting, more like clever use of game mechanics. As far as I know Botting is generally is, using a 3rd party program to do your grind for you. Putting a weight on * z * and going for a hike hardly should be seen as a 3rd party program.

And while on topic, pretty sure the devā€™s know about this and they will be changing if they decide it to be such a game breaking thingy.

it is considered as ā€œBottingā€. A mechanical Botting it is.

Just because you are not using a 3rd party program, itā€™s not considered as botting? Use common sense please. Botting is when you use something so the char can do it automatically while you are AFK or doing something.

Common scenario of botting:

  • I use a macro that do hold Z so my char can attack automatically while Iā€™m AFK. Is that Botting? Yes!
  • I use a C# to program a programable bot to auto attack mobs while Iā€™m AFK. Is that Botting? Yes!
  • I use paper clip to bind my Z key to auto attack mobs while Iā€™m AFK. Is that Botting? Yes!

Let me remind you about some other gamesā€¦World of Warcraft, you can use Hunter to faceroll any enemy and not take a single damage, you can level up by lvl 1 to 80 with just 3-4 daysā€¦now, lets go to a healing class like priestā€¦even in their shadow form they will take around 1 week or more to level up the sameā€¦because they have to spend a lot of mana and rest a lot compared to huntards.

Now, Ragnarok Online, before the implementation of thor or anubis, playing as a priest was a pain in the assā€¦ theyā€™re purely healer class with some damage skills like magus exorcism that yeahā€¦they can level up with that but they would take MONTHS to achieve to lvl 99 without a party, and a assasin could just farm venatus all day long and lvl 99 in 2 weeks or less.

DO NOT DEMAND BUFFS. Archers are op LATE gameā€¦if you have to SUFFER for it, so be it, you need to work for something, you only are whinning in all the posts of this forum about ā€œhow hard is to play archer at the BEGINNINGā€, because they made it HARD for you to get to the GOOD stuff (that is late game).

Thereā€™s no need to move here because all the items go to your character, in other games like RO or WoW, you need to look them from the ground/mob.
