[Addon] Boss Tracker, an addon to see bosses on the map, is now on addon manager!

Fixed :smirk:

submission

popcorn incoming :smirk:

Standing fixed in one spot to queue instances, such old school :smile_cat:

Wonder if it’s possible to have an addon for easier queuing

Such spoonfeeding. Let’s go back to the real hardcore days of 9 slot quickbars and 20 space inventories where 1 potion took up 1 slot.

#HEY LOOK A BARREL, I KNOW YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO NOTICE SO CLICK ON IN… JUST SAYING

#here comes the airplane…

so is this add-on allowed or will IMC ban us for this

At the moment most of the addons in the addon manager(including the boss finder) have a lot in common with schrodinger’s cat in terms or possible bans.

By some of what has been said by the company they will ban you for using these. By some of what has been said by the company they will not ban you for using these.

It’s only after the ban wave hits we will ever truly know.

This is a little situation I like to call…

Schrodinger’s Banwave.

If they do ban waves they will lose players.
With the current state of game, they might not do this. Most players use add-ons.
Who will buy their incoming cutiepatootieexpensiveohwowkewl pet when most players are gone.

In case you guys forgot, IMC has issued an official statement regarding add-ons and their policy. Basically, they will allow add-ons that do not automate anything and those that blatantly go against their terms of use/service.

In the event that they find an add-on to be ā€œban-ableā€, they would ISSUE AN ANNOUNCEMENT FIRST TO ALLOW PEOPLE SOME TIME TO DISABLE/REMOVE SAID ADD-ONS.

This goes in line with what happened with cxAnywhere, they banned people, they then lifted the ban and gave their stance for future issues.

TL;DR
Before anyone gets banned (except if they’re using a 3PP or any such obvious hack), IMC will make an announcement first indicating that the use of ā€œsuch and suchā€ is prohibited.

IKR?

Going to Dina’s Bee Farm and being welcomed by a frucking ridiculous barrage of AFK Summons, it’s getting retarded, and let’s not talk about maps like Tenet’s Church and sheeeit.

I mean, how hard it is for a GM to be logged a couple of hours and go teleporting to well known maps where botters bot and ban them on spot?

Sometimes I really think, botters are actual IMC staff too keep the money flowing to their pockets.

If I had 1 hour, just 1 hour of GM power I would get rid of those bots and still have free time. It requires like no effort to ban botters. But IMC just won’t do that effectively.

You make this under the assumption that they would actually care to do that and not just be lazy and go banning people. This company is not exactly known for their best PR skills or being trust worthy. If I was on my last straw like months ago and they banned me out of no where for just using addons that would be it for them. I would be pretty pissed and no statement on the latter part would ever fix it.

I’m sure many people would feel the same way and this game can’t afford to have any more stupid stunts on IMC’s part to piss off people. Then just thinking about their Customer Support ticket system and trying to get unbanned would be impossible. They seriously need to get their crap together.

But they already did exactly that.
I gave the example of cxAnywhere, wherein they banned a lot of people, then they took it back and then made an announcement.

They actually already did good on their word prior to giving it.

This is not my assumption, this already happened:

Before I get misunderstood, I AM NOT ON IMC’s DEFENSE HERE.

At the very least, we have something ā€œofficialā€ to work with if ever sh*t hits the fan.

IMC did still warn against abuse and they did outline that we (the players) should be more ā€œmindfulā€ of the add-ons we pick and choose to use.

It’s now up to our individual judgement on whether or not we’ll use this particular add-on.

If you get banned due to this, you can use their official statement to leverage an appeal.

If they make an official announcement against this, and you continue to use it, what happens next is purely up to you.

I honestly don’t think you seem to understand the situation here. The post you linked happened months ago when the player base was still decently healthy having the most recorded from early access to now. Right around the time this happened is when the population has been on a steady decline ever since. When it’s happened already people are not going to be forgiving when this is yet just another problem.

All I’m saying is if they want to ban the remaining player base leaving literally just bots keeping the game alive then what ever. That’s their own stupid prerogative to commit seppuku because they can’t handle being shown up in coding prowess. People at this point in the game’s life are not going to be understanding towards blatant stupidity on the company’s part which they can’t divert or deny blame.

So, what you call gimmick bosses are the field bosses like Necroventer? I Don’t recall anyone using the term ā€œgimmickā€ for those bosses you used as example, there is no need to complete any mini-game or event for those, or am i wrong?

is this add on still work?
last time while grinding in solitary cell i found mirtis using this add on

but now, when i’m waiting ellaganos, nothing pop up at all

I thought gimmick bosses are those don’t apply 8 hours debuff.
