My alt account Maple was banned on 2/24/19, which I believe was for a trade made a few hours earlier on 2/23/19. I held off on making this post while trying to work with IMC through the ticket system. After over 6 weeks of being told its still under investigation for “abnormal amounts” as described by IMC through ticket response. A friend reached out to Staff Ines and a few days later I received another response to my most recent ticket stating that the account was permanently banned for violating the EULA.
My friend Eironlight had won a Legend Marnox card in a guild raffle event which he sold to me. He wanted to be paid silver through the market, and this is the trade that I believe got Maple banned.

The account being restricted reminded me of the old RMT rules posted back in July which are for RMT and selling silver which I’m guessing IMC believes my account was involved in. Those rules stated that the person listing the item on the market would receive a GM warning for first strike and items taken for the 2nd strike. Eironlight did not receive a warning and got his silver - I got the Legend Marnox on Plasmagica, but my alt account Maple was banned.
I would also like to add that the Maple account is over 2 years old with 2k+ hours playtime and I had bought TP for new character slots / beauty shop. The account has 4 lvl 390 characters and has completed Velcoffer, the unique raids, a year’s’ worth of Saalus, and many CMs while also being guild leader of a lvl 17 guild. It does not fit the profile of a silver selling bot that has 1 character does not buy TP and uses the free starter gear. I don’t understand how IMC cannot tell the difference between a new account created for the purposes of RMT, and a 2+ year old account that has done most of the content in the game.
During this I also made a ticket to see if IMC could transfer the guild leader position while the account was under investigation, but I was told they could not do that. So, I need this account investigated for real and unbanned or at the very least transfer guild leader to team name Runic a founding member of my 3 year old guild.
Trying to get any issue resolved in this game through the ticket system feels terrible. I have lost all faith in this game if years of hard work can be taken away so quickly, for one trade that did not involve RMT. I would like to thank Staff Ines for responding to a PM and trying to be helpful it was the only time I felt like someone at IMC was reading my messages / tickets.
