I created a video showing a bit of taoist with miko (almost nothing actually) take a look

This is a really solid option. Of course, you might still need a 2nd cleric with ranks in priest in the party in harder contents or if your team is facing difficulties and dying. But for WB-wise and ET, it is really good. Just note that members outside your party can steal ausrine too.

If you try to play around with the skill planner it is impossible to have a cleric build that covers all basis. Even if you did formulate one, it’ll be lacking once a 2nd cleric comes into the picture. If you’re in a static party, try to talk it out and see what your team is lacking and build around it. This is the fastest and most efficient way to build up a cleric. This way when you have 2 clerics in the party, they will complement each other rather than having doubled roles.

Also, taoist is mostly support. There will come a time when the +50% melee damage turn melee dps into a monster. For krivtao, it is not optimal burst for world bosses as well since zaibas are considered tiles and can be reversi-ed.
Unless you’re at the boss with no one around but your guild/party members, or if you’re willing to take the risk getting reversied even with 2-3 chronos,by all means go ahead and do a stormcalling zaibas build. Then again, i’m talking about zaibas15 (krivis3). The difference between zaibas 5 and 15 is really a lot because we’re talking about the differences in hit counts.

Lol, you guys are late. Anyway, I was trying to create a build without Krivis C3 or Diev C3 while fitting in Taoist because I wanted to support the team while dealing DPS and I like Taoist.

So, I created Cleric C2 > Priest C3 (Build 3). However, in the end the DPS is really crappy and I reconsidered my options, to which I rank reset and went Cleric 2 > Krivis C3 > Miko C1 > Plague Doctor C1 > Taoist C1.

Not much of an ET player, don’t even bother with PvP. I decided to not try and fit it to help others and just go with what I like. I’m a solo player so I went with a build I’m comfortable with. At least, I still got Cleric C2 to help out :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah I was also debating to get only Krivis C1 for that little boost, but like you said. It makes a huge difference for Stormcall combo.

Then I decide whether I should get Krivis C2, to get a more decent DPS and more Daino, not requiring a Tipio gem anymore.

But, no matter how I build, it is best to still get Krivis3 for Taoist, getting Krivis3 and below will always end up with PD2 or INQ being the best.

You noticed the pattern eh? :smirk: The so-called “meta” has been thought out by players for real long by doing the same thing.

Also want to let you know krivtao is garbage at soloing a pack of mobs. If you’re looking at killing mobs in medium to large amount it’s bokorpd2… Hit counts only good on single target. It is currently just my saalus/290rush bot.

Woops, I typo. Should be “Krivis2 and below”

I guess I will be fine xD
That’s why I have Miko + PD1 for more skill rotations. Even if I can’t mass mob, I still got enough skills to reduce my down time.

When I reach 317 and complete my Practo ritual, only then will I start solo questing and see how it performs but I know that Zaibas is going to let me down at later levels and requires stormcalling all the time.

Don’t really have high hopes, at least I’m doing fine in grinds, dungeon and mission so far.

The hitlimit for Zaibas will hit you really hard because every hit is counted towards the hitlimit even if you’ve got the “splash damage” attribute for Zaibas, meaning that the 20 hits of lvl 16 Zaibas will be split among all mobs that step inside its AoE, effectively reducing the hitcount to meaningless levels the more enemies are stepping into Zaibas.
C1 Krivis can’t even “splash” the damage as the attribute is only for Krivis C2+, so he can only hit 1 target within the AoE of Zaibas.

That’s why I believe Krivis C3 is basically the essential for Stormcalling Taoist unless you want to focus more on other skills and use Stormcalling only to buff physical damage/ nuke the talisman with Begone Demon for damage and some utility with the 10 hits of Zaibas lvl 6.

Don’t think Zaibas will do anything amazing on mobs unless you go Krivis C3[use it as a single target nuke skill against bosses/strong monsters e.g.].
As a Miko, you can do enough AoE damage with Hamaya, though, so I believe it’s fine.
