[7/13/2016] What is your current rating of the game

That last option turned this thread into bait.

6/10. Without the art style it would be a 2/10 if the game will be fixed 9/10

9/11 american will know

7 before seeing the latest kToS patch, now 6.

For me it’s a 6/10

PRO:
-really nice controls
-good combat gameplay
-really nice and cute graphics
-i like the story cutscenes
-class tree concept is very interesting, however it could use some balancing
-many original boss fights with many different bosses
-there are some really interesting and fun quests (searching for treasure boxes via treasure map, for example)
-skills are made more interesting via skill attributes
-some maps have really nice atmosphere/design and music
-i like the EXP card system
-i like the idea and concept of puzzle dungeons (aka dungeon maps with puzzles in order to trigger events).

CON:
-many boss fights feel same-y and predictable (boss throws traps->does its skill rotation->throws traps again, etc)
-monster respawn rate is way too low
-too many bots/RMT going on
-game is REALLY repetetive since you are basically railroaded through the same maps with each character, no real sense of exploration but instead it feels like a really, really long hallway
-Some overworld maps feel really same-y
-While the first locations are really nice many mid/high-level maps feel a bit sterile and lifeless. There is no or hardly any ambience sounds, at least none that i can remember right now. It feels so silent and lifeless.
-special equipment and equipment bonuses apparently were designed without a sense of balancing, progress or reason… A level 75 offhand weapon is pretty much as powerful as a level 220 offhand weapon. Some low-level items are better than most high-level items, there is no sense of balance or progression put into many item bonuses
-some weapon classes, like staffs, are useless since they are not effective enough compared to rod+offhand dagger
-a fcking overused standard ā€œyou are the chosen one, only you can do itā€-prophecy-story. Not considering it’s totally stupid to be ā€œthe chosen oneā€ when thousands of others ā€œchosen onesā€ are running around, it already tells us that we’re going to win, since the fcking ā€œprophecy says soā€. I’d rather play as a nobody who can decide his own fate than playing as a chosen one who will win anyway because the prophecy says so. That being said, the sub-plots of the main story are ok and nice (like the sub-plots in tenet church against the demon queen or the story with that red crystal thingy that that baron uses). It’s just the overarcing prophecy-chosen-one concept that i don’t like.

Itos is a 4/10.

Ktos is a 5.5/10.

I find that rating the game 5 to 7 is reasonable.

I rate the forum community a 4.

I guess. My guild is dead they all left the game. Cannot do quest with party because of the bug.
Bad optimisation etc.

8 - looking past the bug flaws and looking forward to patches. Which is more than can be said about the last mmo I played (ESO).

Game’s a solid 10.
Management is a solid -10.

Surprised at the amounts of 6s and 7s in this thread, I’m on board with this and think it’s a 3. It has a lot of potential, but IMC keeps throwing that potential in the trash and most of the time does not listen to the player base. I’m fortunate to be on Klapedia so I don’t have many server issues, but the game itself is currently lacking in so many ways.

It’s not social, at all and doesn’t encourage you to be. If anything, it actively DISCOURAGES social play because of all the restrictions that are meant to fight bots, that don’t even work anyways.

Add on top of that, this is the first MMO I’ve ever played that doesn’t have a viable, endgame melee class. Over my last 12 years of playing MMOs, I honestly can’t think of a single time I played one that didn’t at least have a warrior or thief class that could pull the same dps in melee range that an archer or wizard could, yet here we are (and this even includes indie MMO games that somehow were able to get this right). The game lacks some serious class balancing issues and all I can think to chalk this up to is that the game is still in beta and not really, fully, officially released.

Orsha is 8/10 mainly because lag free for the most part and generally chill once you block out the occasional BR spam/racist hate spam

Telsiai is 5/10 because hoooooo booooy too crowded and too damn laggy and i DC too many times

6/10 overall, but +1 mainly because the soundtrack is nice uwu

Like i said if this exact same graphic art and game play was given to let’s say a new MMO with:
-Half as much classes or maybe 8 (2 each branch) that are balanced,
-Have the option to grind or quest for anyone to choose whatever they prefer
this game could be thrown away…

0 cus I’m a doom knight, the end is near, game is dying blargblargbark

8/10 on the game, aside from class balancing and bots, its a solid game . Still waiting for a champion like class .

1/10 community is cancer , too much negativity . Specially those doom bringer, and i quit boys .

P.s Avoid them at all cost .
