Energy blast got its sfr increased almost 5x over.
It’ll finally do damage especially with Nirvana.

Can now spam 12k before enhance sfr. Double it with inquis and multiply that with Nirvana.

Using google translate, the Muleta art seems to cast Faena at the level you’ve learned, but the cooldown is raised by 20s. So, utter crap. Ends up having the same cooldown as Faena, and you end up casting muleta less times (thus less cooldown reductions). Dunno what they were thinking when they made it.

Epee garde seems to be baffling as well. Google translate isn’t clear, but it seems to give the dagger mastery (25% dagger damage to rapier) but it reduces epee garde effect (to 40% i guess)? There also seems to be something else. By this translation it seems utter crap as well though.

New Arts Speed Translation

I believe this to be all of the arts. If one isn’t listed for your class, it doesn’t exist (Enchanter, Squire, Pardoner, Alchemist). I apologize for the slight sloppiness, this was done very quickly.

Synchro Thrusting
Strike damage ratio changed from 65% to 50%. Applies 2 hits. +15s cooldown

Hell Breath
Cast time and hit interval reduced by half, only hits one target, damage dealt per hit increased.

Joust
Now a casting skill. Can cast up to 2 seconds, increasing the distance of the charge. The further you travel, the more damage dealt (up to 50% increase). Enemies hit are knocked down.

Shield Train
After dashing, draws in enemies within a certain range for 1.5 sec and deals damage every 0.5 sec, reduces overheat to 1.

Hamaya
No longer attacks enemies. Recovers HP of party members by 5% of their max HP every 0.5 sec for 2 seconds.

Friedenslied
Can be used while moving, only applies to enemies. Enemies are given a debuff that gives them a 50% chance to dance at regular intervals.

Aiming Shot
Fires at all enemies affected by [Peacemaker: Fatigue]. Can change direction, but cannot move. Adds 0.5 sec casting time, +5s cooldown.

Desmodus
No longer deals damage to enemies. Range increased by 50%, debuffs 20 targets, increases the final potency of the debuff by 10%.

Sand Wall
Existing functions removed. Enemies within 80 range are sucked in every 0.5s for 5 seconds. Enemies are knocked down at the end of the duration, adds 20 seconds to cooldown.

Bazooka
Existing functions except damage benefits are removed. Movement speed is now fixed to 25 (10 in PVP)

Steed Charge
Halves movement distance and damage. Now deals fire damage, generates fire across the ground from where you moved from and to. Fire lasts for 5 seconds, deals half the damage of Steed Charge every second, +17s cooldown

Dragon Tooth
Adds a 1 second cast time. Overheat is changed to 1, AoE Attack Ratio increased by 20, damage increased by 200%, strike range increased by 80%.

Entity
Now an aura buff that will find nearby cloaked enemies. Duration is [Skill Level + 5] seconds. Enemies revealed take 20% more damage for 5 seconds.

Blink
Existing functions are removed. Your apparition will duplicate your Sage skill casts for 10 seconds (excluding Dimension Compression). Apparition damage is only 30% of the master’s, overheat reduced to 1, cooldown +20s

Lachrymator
Halves duration, reduces cooldown by 40s, deals 1463% SFR every second to enemies in range.

Brick Break
No longer stuns or reduces enemy critical rate. Range is doubled, hits 3 times, reduced to 1 overheat, +5s cooldown.

Canister Shot
Duration fixed to 4 seconds. Will no longer pull enemies, but deals damage equal to 12.5% of Canister Shot every 0.5 seconds to enemies in range. Cannot use with [Canister Shot: Duration], no longer removes enemy buffs.

Down Fall
Now a channel for 2 seconds.

Reduces overheat by 1.
Reduces cooldown by 10s.
Deals damage to enemies every 0.06s.
Number of targets: 3 + (AoE Attack Ratio / 3)
Cannot be used with [Downfall: Broaden]

Spiral Arrow
Adds 1 second cast time, reduces number of hits by 2, penetrates up to 9 enemies

Throw Rete
Doubles range and number of targets, removes piercing damage increase, +10% SP cost

Raiton no Jutsu
Dashes to your target. +5s cooldown

Insurance
Instead of the normal effect, when you die, you will revive to 10% HP with 3 seconds of invincibility. Buff duration is now 60 seconds, +4min cooldown time

Protection of Goddess
While in Retribution or Blessing chant, the skill’s damage is reduced by 75% but it now hits 4 times, +100% SP cost

Swell Body
Applies to the party, increases their size.

Duration changed to 30 seconds + [Skill Level *2]

Increases max HP, Physical Defense by 4% + [Skill Level * 0.4]%

Actual size attribute of the party does not change, does not apply [Swell Body: Additional Damage]

Shrink Body
Applies to the party, decreases their size.

Duration changed to 30 seconds + [Skill Level *2]

Increases max HP, Magic Defense by 4% + [Skill Level * 0.4]%

Actual size attribute of the party does not change, does not apply [Shrink Body: Additional Damage]

Aspergillum
Removes the additional hit effect of Aspergillum. Summons a magic circle that deals damage equal to the Skill Factor of Aspergillum, lasts 10 seconds

Judgment
Now a debuff on enemies. No longer causes enemies to take additional damage from Holy, all attacks you deal consider the enemy to be a Demon, cannot be used at the same time as [Judgment: Provoke], 10 sec duration

Zaibas
Range and damage increased by 3x, duration changed to 10 seconds, hit interval changed from 0.15s to 0.5s, +15 targets hit, reduces overheat by 1, +5s cooldown

Palm Strike
Can now specify target location, doubles attack range and AoE attack ratio, reduces cooldown by 5s

Gravity Pole
Can now change directions, halves duration and hit interval, does not pull enemies

Luka
No longer bleeds, deals 15x damage to enemies in a wide range, doubles AoE Attack Ratio of Luka

Annihilation
Removes invincibility, attacks enemies 5 times faster, only hits up to 10 enemies, 1 second cast time added in PVP

Bloody Overdrive
Attack enemies 4 times faster, cannot use invincibility attribute, adds 0.5 sec delay in PVP areas

Slithering
Removes block and physical defense increase. Enemies hit take 30% of the damage of Slithering every second, reduces duration by half

Limacon
Now only lasts 45 seconds, damages 5 nearby enemies. Does not stack with [Limacon: Spread]

Muay Thai
Removes all existing effects of Muay Thai, and now does the following:

+100% damage to enemies
+50% Physical Defense
+40% Critical Rate
+100% magic damage taken
Cooldown fixed to 30 seconds

Cryomancer
Removes [Freeze] effects from all skills except Frost Pillar. Instead of freezing, inflicts enemies with [Cold] debuff, which increases damage taken from Cryomancer skills by 50%.

Dead Zone
Now hits 7 targets at once, +5s cooldown

Shadow Pool
Removes invincibility, changes duration to [Skill Level * 1] second, reduces damage taken by 50%, can only use Shadowmancer skills during duration, +100% SP cost of Shadow Pool

Forge
When placed, can summon 1 party member to the Forge

-Can only be used in GTW
-Can only be used while Templar and party member are in the same map
-Cannot be used inside the range of the capture point
-Shares cooldown with other Templars in the party
-Adds 3 minute cooldown

Ambush
Upon use, resets cooldown of Leap, +10s cooldown to Ambush

Evil Spirit
No longer generates high-end evil spirits; when evil spirits hit enemies, they hit up to 5 enemies; will not hit infernal shadow

Fanatic Illusion
Doubles the range, hit interval changed to 0.5 sec, damage halved, +5s cooldown

Stop: Aging
Reduces the following enemy stats by 10%.

-Attack
-Healing
-Block Penetration
-Critical Rate
-Critical Attack
-Accuracy

Sniper’s Serenity
When you use Snipe or Headshot on an enemy, deals the same damage to enemies within 50 range

When you gain Sniper’s Serenity, you have 6 stacks, and each time this effect is activated, the stack is reduced by 1, and when all stacks are gone, the buff disappears

Adds 1.5 seconds to the casting time, removes the additional hit on a nearby enemy for Snipe, cannot be used at the same time as [Sniper’s Serenity: Exploit Weakness]

Hangman’s Knot
Places mines in front of you for 15 seconds, enemies who step on the mine pull their nearby allies on top of them and become immobilized by the Hangman’s Knot debuff

Coursing
When an enemy caught in Coursing is attacked, applies [Blood Stained] debuff to 5 enemies within 100 range for 10 seconds (debuff deals damage every 2.5 sec)

When attacking an enemy with this debuff, damage is dealt to 5 enemies within 50 range equal to 30% of the SFR of Coursing

Reduced to 1 overheat

Revenged Sevenfold: Last Chance
Removes all existing effects of Revenged Sevenfold. The duration is changed to 1 second per skill level.

The buff will now prevent death for those affected once during the duration. Upon triggering, heals 10% of max HP, provides 3 seconds of invulnerability, cooldown increased to 5 minutes.

Rune of Justice
Now strikes enemies in front every 0.2 seconds for up to 2 seconds, reduced to 1 overheat

Sadhu
When spirit is out, applies 1 stack of [Asceticism] every 2 sec (up to 20 stacks)

Increases damage dealt by magic by +2% per stack

When the spirit is removed, all stacks are removed

Spike Shooter
Now penetrates enemies, +5s cooldown

Epee Garde
While Epee Garde is active, if you have a dagger equipped, converts 25% of dagger attack to main weapon physical attack

Reduces final damage bonus on critical to 40% of the normal value.

Removes Pierce damage requirement for final damage increase.

Muleta
When you counter attack, uses Faena immediately, +20 sec cooldown to Muleta

Raise Dead
Summons 1 elite skeleton soldier instead (max 1, 1 overheat)

Corsair
When using corsair skills during fever, 77% chance to gain stacks of [Lucky Coin].

When you stack to [7 Lucky Coins], grants the [Lucky] buff, increases AoE Attack Ratio of nearby party members by 50% for 60 seconds.

Cannot give out more than 15 AoE Attack ratio, will not allow AoE Attack Ratio of party members to exceed 30, does not provide AoE Attack ratio to the caster

Protection of Goddess
While in Punishment or Blessing chant, the skill’s damage is reduced by 75% but it now hits 4 times, +100% SP cost

Divine Punishment
After casting, the targeted enemy is struck every 1 second (up to 5 sec); damage is changed to 60% of normal, reduced to 1 overheat

Lycanthropy
Upon use, your eyes will glow and you do not transform into wolf nor demiwolf.

Duration is now 30 minutes
Increases damage by [skill level * 4]%
Reduces damage taken by [skill level * 2]%

Genbu Armor
Removes all existing effects. Now grants buffs that rotate sequentially every 20 seconds:

+90% Psychokinesis damage
+90% non-property magic damage
+90% earth damage
-50% damage and cooldown on Yin Yang Harmony

Foretell
Now applies to enemies instead, reduces their damage dealt by [skill level*2%]

Conviction
Only hits 1 enemy target, heals party members within 100 range; healing factor is equal to 10% of the SFR of Conviction, +15s cooldown

Mass Heal
Halves healing, and if the amount you heal exceeds max HP, they gain a shield equal to 20% of their max HP, cannot refresh shield

Beak Mask
Removes all existing effects of beak mask; instead, if you use Black Death Steam while it’s on, it will poison all enemies around and deal damage (same damage as Black Death Steam)

Carve Attack
No longer hits enemies, but increases level of diev statues in range of the carve by 1 (does not work on ausrine)

Storm Dust
Reduces range and target count, but makes it hit more frequently, +5s cooldown

Tomahawk
Leaves flames for 5 seconds, dealing damage equal to 12.5% of damage of tomahawk every 0.5 sec, no longer inflicts burn debuff

Bone Pointing
No longer attacks, but applies level 1 hexing debuff to enemies within 80 range for 45 seconds

Samedieve
Adds +1% attack to summons per skill level (cap 10%), removes HP/move speed buff, size of circle increases every 0.5 sec

Skyliner
Now a channel that can last up to 2.5 seconds. Reduces overheat to 1, hits [AoE Attack Ratio + 4] targets, range doubled.

Cavalry Charge
After using Cavalry Charge, applies [Elite Cavalry] buff for 15 seconds. Increases Accuracy and Evasion by 100%, provides knockdown/knockback immunity. Adds 15 seconds to cooldown of Cavalry Charge.

Divine Machine Arrow
Adds 5 seconds to cooldown. Overheat changed to 1, when an enemy is hit, it immediately explodes, and causes a chain explosion when an another enemy is hit by this explosion. An enemy hit by an explosion cannot be trigger another explosion by the same use of the skill.

Swashbuckling
Now only applies to enemy players.
Enemies affected are forced to attack you with basic attacks for 5 seconds.
Increases Movement Speed of enemies affected by 10.
Enemies affected will receive a debuff that prevents it from occurring again for 60 seconds.
Increases cooldown time by 100 seconds.

Cyclone
Reduces attack range, hit interval, and AoE Attack ratio by half. Cannot move.

Flash
Adds a 1 second cast time, damage reduced by half (0.5 second cast time with a one handed sword).

Places persistent electricity, dealing damage to enemies every 0.5 sec for 5 seconds. Damage is equal to 1/5 of Flash.

Pouncing
Cannot move, but attack range is doubled. +100% SP cost.

Ritirarsi
Removes backwards jump. Applies [Attach] debuff to enemies, causing them to explode after 3 seconds, dealing damage to up to 7 nearby enemies. Will attach to enemies at a certain range. Inflicts a debuff that prevents Revive for 10 seconds and also ignores Revive.

Jincan Gu
Removes existing effect, and instead spawns a golden Tutu that deals periodic damage to nearby enemies. Deals more damage after hitting 5 times[?].

Block and Shoot
Skill damage reduced by 50%, accuracy reduced by 70%, take 50% less damage from enemies while channeling.

For every update that happens I still don’t understand what was the specific direction of the Arditi class… But at least I don’t deny that ART seems interesting

Challenge Mode Stage 6-10 Deleted


With the recent updates, we added CM stage 6-10, which is content that is mainly played by large AoE attack classes, and afterwards, we added the Split Singularity mode, which is advantageous for single target damage classes.

The above contents were updated separately so that a variety of classes can play in a party in the right content that suits them, but in reality it was difficult to create optimal party compositions for each content, which served as a large entry barrier regardless of the actual difficulty of the content.

The development team recognizes that this resulted in a large problem of excessively difficult party composition requirements due to dependence on specific classes, and resulted in a general fatigue in regards to playing the content. As a result, we have deleted this content, and changed the waves of Split Singularity so that both single target damage classes and AoE classes can play effectively, and merged the exclusive rewards from CM6-10 into Split Singularity.

No art for them, sorry!

It really feels like these new ARTs are focused on trade-offs, giving certain benefits in exchange for downsides. Some of these downsides are simply too much though. It also feels like the ones who made this patch doesn’t have practical experience and understanding on how these classes work (no surprises I guess).

Expectations:

Zaibas
Range and damage increased by 3x, duration changed to 10 seconds, hit interval changed from 0.15s to 0.5s, +15 targets hit, reduces overheat by 1, +5s cooldown

Palm Strike
Can now specify target location, doubles attack range and AoE attack ratio, reduces cooldown by 5s

Reality:

Zaibas
Zaibas’s damage is now 1/3 of its original damage (which is already very low to begin with) as its overheat is reduced from 3 to 1, and the increase in interval and lack of stacking overheats makes it so you cannot stagger enemies.

Palm Strike
Nope, can’t specify target location (probably a bug …?). Palm Strike is now reduced from 4 overheats to 2 and it takes almost a second to use, so you may have no time to use Hand Knife after Palm Strike if you have bad ping. In order to use Palm Strike ARTs, you may lose up to 4 overheats of Hand Knife and 2 overheats of Palm Strike (sure, 5s cooldown reduction, but lel). No damage buffs to its skill factor too.

I see the same kind of trade-offs littered everywhere with other classes (Matador, Retiarius, Psychokino, etc), though some simply got good buffs while others got worse downsides compared to the benefits. Mixed feelings with this patch, hopefully they tweak things in kTest moving forward instead of shoehorning it into kToS.

i tought it reduced By 1, meaning it gets 2 OH.

so it still is a great boost in dmg. as each new zaibas hits 3x tine as hard as the old, stacking two new is the same as stacking 6 old.

also:

i view this s an absolute win, since it is waaaaaaaaay better than that joke of demi - wolf form.

No, Zaibas with ARTs only has 1 overheat and its damage remained the same. Zaibas does not hit 3 times as hard as the old one. I tested it on kTest personally.

Feelsbad, what did Krivis do to IMC to deserve this.
