Not that I’m complaining, given my luck with upgrades I will gladly trade free potential for shards any day, but I don’t know if people who are still trascending their weapons are gonna be happy about it… I guess that’s the way IMC found to make players dump their shards on something, instead of undercutting each other on the market to oblivion, which will still happen since new HGs drop Shards too (btw @greyhiem is the drop rate any good?)

They just announced rank 9 is coming on the next patch (December 12)

So wait, Matadors get block bonuses now? Any other buffs? Because I thought this was supposed to be a non-shield class. We don’t really need another Murmillo.

100% Blockrate is only exclusive to the Muleta skill, and from what it said - there is 100% Evasion during the Back Slide skill animation. There is the attribute, Faena:Risk Taker it was changed so that if you wear a shield you cannot block with it(the shield), even if it’s equipped.

Does anyone know anything about this event here? Please god don’t let it be another candy dungeon

▣ Update Contents

【Changes/Additions】
Team Battle League rebalancing has taken place.
The amount of damage dealt by characters has been adjusted.
	- Current Value: 30%
	- New Value : 10%
	
Skill re-balancing has also taken place in Team Battle League.
	- The effects of 'Movement Speed' Buffs and Debuffs both have had their effects reduced by 50% in TBL. (This does Include Swordsman's Dash)
	
Bokor:
	- Mackangdal: 
		→ The Duration of this skills effects has been reduced by 30% in TBL.

Dievdirbys:
     - Statue of Goddess Ausrine
		→ The Duration of this skills effects has been reduced by 30% in TBL.
		
Appraiser:
    - Devaluation:
		→ The Duration of this skills debuff is now 20 seconds when targeting Character players. (Basically in TBL/GVG)
		
Psychokino:
    - Telekinesis:
		→ The Duration of this skills effects has been reduced by 30% in TBL.
    - Raise:
		→ This skill now applies to 50% less targets in TBL.
		
Chronomancer:
    - Stop:
		→The Duration of this skill has been reduced by 50% in TBL.
		
Item Balancing has also been done.
	- The effect of the [Dullahan Card] will now only trigger once per round in TBL.
	
Golden Sockets:
	- An ‘Old Golden Socket’ item and recipe has been added to the game.
		- You can use a Golden Socket only on 0 Potential Equipment, this can't exceed the maximum allowed sockets though.
		- From a Unique Story Raid, you can obtain a [Recipe - Old Golden Socket] as a reward.
				
Display Dropped Item Names:
	- The drop item display function has been improved when checking item drops in the environment.
	
Instanced Dungeon Improvements:
The displayed potential item drops has been adjusted in the Dungeon Entrance window.
	- Instanced Dungeons/Saalus/Unique Raids/Earth Tower
	
There is now a categorizing button to display potential weapon/armor/accessory/material drops.
	- Clicking the button will bring up all relevant contents. (However, the UI re-assures you that the item drops from Earth Tower are not guaranteed when entering it.)
	- Mission related content still only display Cubes as drops.
 
It's now possible to report players inside Instanced Dungeons.
-  This can be done by right-clicking the player inside and Instance and pressing 'Report Inappropriate Player' 
- Reports can only be made once per Character, and the feature only appears inside Instanced Dungeons. (The report limit resets daily at 6AM Server Time.)
- If you get several reports, you may be subject to punishment.

	
Instanced Multiply Tokens:
	- You may now choose to use an Instanced Dungeon Multiply Token after the dungeon has been cleared.

Monster Card Equipping:
	- Monster Card Equip UI has been updated.
	- Monster Card Equip UI will now display the effects of any currently equipped cards

Muskets:
	- The 'Attack' stat of all Musket type items has been increased by about 8.3%
 
【Events】
2day's Festival:
	- A blessed tree is in Klaipeda, talk to it to get an experience buff.
	- the tree gives a 24hour +100% exp buff, this can only be taken once a day per team.

2day’s Christmas:
	- Gain Anniversary Firecrackers for every 30mins you're online.
	- Up to 3 fireworks can be earned per day. [Fireworks give +100% EXP for 1 hour, stacks with other exp buffs]
	
As You want Event has ended.
Halloween Event has ended.

============【Skills: 8th Balance Patch】============
1. The Reset Helper NPC has been removed.
2. Musketeers will have their Skill/Attribute Points Reset and returned to them.

============【Swordsman Changes】============
Matador:
	 Picador:
		- A New Attribute has been added.
		- If you are the target of an enemy, Increases damage of all skills by 10% when targeted enemies.
		- Effect obly applies only when equipped with a [Rapier] weapon.
			
	 Muleta:
		- Upon a successful Counter Attack, you now gain a [Muleta] buff.
		- Duration: 20 seconds
		- Critical Rate: + [Skill Level x 10]
		- In the scenarios where a successful counter attack took place but SP/cooldown costs weren't applying regardless of a successful or failed counter attack, Muleta's cast time, cooldown and SP Consumption functions will be changed to apply more instantly.
		- 100% Chance of blocking nearby physical attacks while countering.
		- The 'Counter Stance' timeframe has been increased to 1 second. (From 0.5s)
		- Cooldown time has been reduced to 8 seconds. (From 8)
			
	 Muleta: Duration (Attribute):
		- The duration extention  of this attribute has been changed to +0.5 seconds per attribute level. (From +0.1)
		
	 Faena:
		- [Large] and [Boss] type monsters receive 20% Increased Damage .
		
	 Faena:Risk Taker (Attribute):
		- The attribute's effects have been changed.
		- Current: Increase damage of Faena by 50% when you are not equipped with a secondary weapon or shield.
		- New:	Blocking is no longer possible, even if a Shield is equipped, while also Increasing the damage of [Faena]  by 50%
			(Example : 282% + 50% = 332%)
	
	 Ole:
		- If you do not have the highest threat on the target, only half the effect of Ole is applied.
 
	Banderillero:
		- A new attribute has been added.
		- Increases the damage of all skills by 20% when equipped with a [Rapier] weapon.
		- (Excludes 'All Weapons Available' type skills)

	Paso Doble:
		- The Attack Range has been changed.
		- Attack Length: 40 → 60
		- Cooldown time has been reduced to 20 seconds.
		-  Paso Doble now prevents damage during animation cast.


	Paso Doble: Remove Knockback (Attribute):
		- A new attribute has been added.
		- Removes Knockback from Paso Doble
		- Increases SP consumption by 10%
		- Mastery Level = 1

	Back Slide:
		- During the animation of [Back Slide], Evasion is 100%
	
Lancer: 
	Crush:
		- SP consumption has been changed.
			Current: Base: 64.8, +12.4 per level
			New: Base: 38.9, +7.4 per level

	Joust:
		- SP consumption has been changed.
			Current: Base: 68.4, +18.4 per level
			New: Base: 41, +11 per level

	Unhorsing:	
 		- SP consumption has been changed.
			Current: Base: 66, +12.2 per level
			New: Base: 39.6, +7.3 per level

	Quintain
		- SP consumption has been changed.
			Current: Base: 58.8, +13.6 per level

	Initiate	
 		- SP consumption has been changed.

 Secondary Weapon Attacks:
	- While equipped with a [Musket], you may now perform a secondary weapon attack with the (C) key.
	
	
Musketeer:
	Musketeer: Secure Distance (Attribute) :
	- A new attribute has been added.
		- When attacking an enemy using the secondary weapon attack (C), your character moves back a short distance.
		- Available to use once every 15 seconds.
	
	Covering Fire:	
		- Casting time has been removed.
		- The skills after cast delay has been reduced to 1.5 seconds. (From 2)

	Headshot:
		- Now has an overheat of 2. (From 1)
	
	Headshot: Reload
		- This attribute has been removed from the game.

	Snipe:
		-  This skill will now be unlocked at Circle 2. (moved from Circle 1)
			(As it will be circle 2, attribute costs will increase.)
		- The skills after cast delay has been reduced.
		- The skills Attack Factor will change.
			Current:2266% +124.6% per level
			New:2833% +155.8% per level

	Snipe: Enhance (Attribute):
		- Moved to unlock at Musketeer Circle 2
		- Attribute Point cost increased.
	
	Snipe: Ricochet Shooting
		- Moved to unlock at Musketeer Circle 3
		- Attribute Point cost increased.

	Butt Stroke:
		- This skill has been removed from the game.
	
	Butt Stroke: Enhance (Attribute):
		- This attribute has been removed from the game.

	Butt Stroke: Stun (Attribute):

	Butt Stroke: Great Attack (Attribute):

	Bayonet Thrust:
		- This skill has been removed from the game.
	
	Bayonet Thrust: Enhance (Attribute):

	Bayonet Thrust: Reduced Recovery
		- This attribute has been removed from the game.

	Grooving Muzzle:
		- A new skill has been added, available from Circle 1 Musketeer.
		- Mastery Level = 15
		- Accuracy: +100
		- Ignores 15% of Enemy Defense
		- 30% Chance to Critically triple-shoot. (triggered on basic attacks)
		- Duration:10 + (Skill Level - 1) seconds
		- Cooldown: 35 seconds

	Volleyfire:
		This skills effects will receive the following changes:
		- Max. Targets: 8 (From AoE Attack Ratio: 5)
			▣ Note: This his 8 targets regardless of size/type of monster
		-  This skill is now a true multi-hit skill.
		- Overheat is now 2. (From 1)
		- Cooldown time reduced to 20 seconds. (From 26)

	Birdfall:
		- The aftercast delay when using this skill has been reduced.
	
	Snipers Serenity:
		The skills effect has received the following changes:
		- You will no longer lose the Snipers Serenity buff if you move your character.
		- Movement speed becomes fixed at 10, and the during the buff, the default moving shot strafe that archer jobs can perform is disabled.
		- The buff will apply on the first use of the skill, use it once more to remove the buff and let it apply its cooldown. 
	(The skill will naturally go on cooldown when the duration of the Snipers Serenity buff has ended, or when the buff is ended pre-maturely by the player.)
		- Cooldown time has been reduced to 1 second.
		- SP Consumption has been changed.
			Current: Base 370, +41 SP cost per level
			New: Base 111, +2.3 SP cost per level

	Snipers Serenity: Close Catch (Attribute):
		- SP Consumption is now increased by 500%. (From 200%)

	Prime and Load:
		- A new skill has been added.
		-  Level Mastery = 1	
		- Cooldown: 15 seconds
		- Resets the cooldown of Circle 1 & 2 Musketeer skills. 
		▣ Note: Prime and Load's Cooldown time cannot be reset via Chronomancer's Pass.
		- Depending on the skills that were reset, extra time is added to the cooldown time of Prime and Load.
			▣ Covering Fire +5s
			▣ Penetration Shot +5s
			▣ Volleyfire +5s
			▣ Headshot +10s
			▣ Birdfall +10s
			▣ Snipe +10s
Skill Tip// As an example, if Covering fire & Penetration shot were on cooldown at the time of using Prime and Load, the cooldown of Prime and Load would be 25s instead of 15s.	

	Prime and Load: Fast Load (Attribute) :
		- A new attribute has been added.
		-  Prime and Load's cooldown is reduced by 1 second per attribute level.
		- Mastery Level = 5

Fixed issue with overlapping buttons when spectating in Team Battle League.
Fixed issue where the Wedding Costume (F) would clip through the Paper Box
 
【Other Changes】
Fixed issue with appraising items deducting potential from already appraised items when the player was appraising multiples of new items at the same time.
Fixed issue where characters who were moved to the lodge still couldn't re-enter Challenge Mode.

HG-blessed shard drop rate was quite good, but then it got nerfed. Card album drop rate increased as a compensation. Card albums only drop inside HG after patch.

description says it’s like golden anvil but for slots. edit: oh you wanted to say something similiar but i didnt get it.

uhm…i think you translated wrong Paso double’s casting explanation…just pointing out that its said that the skill will now avoid ALL damage while casting(and not “unable to evade”), they even have a gif showing that you ignore/avoid all the damage of a boss that deals continuous damage while the character is spinning.

That nerf to devaluation… :worried:

Devaluation ability was added to the game to lessen the effect of trascendence and enhancement in TBL and GVG. This nerf will bring back more disparity between characters with high and low equipment investments, just the opposite of what we had been asking for.

The duration was way too strong, but as usual, imc turns something op into ■■■■. Guess im dropping appraiser now.

Doesn’t GVG use original durations/effects for everything (R7, Missile Hole etc.) except for a few “special skills” (Hunter coursing/retrieve vs Player, Headshot)?

If translation of patch notes is not wrong, devaluation nerf will also apply to GvG.

Oh well my bad - it seems to work just like the Hunter Coursing/Retrieve with half duration vs Players…
