Too many beach-themed entries. Summer is summer, it’s not about the beach. In fact, most of the world of TOS is rather mountain- or forest-themed landscape.
It would’ve been nice to see more nighttime or early morning pictures,too.
A hot summer is always best countered when the temperature falls 
There are so many aspects of the summer neglected, e.g. the stinging/biting & blood-sucking insects, the wildfires, the exsiccation of ponds and rivers, drought and locust swarms, thunderstorms and tornados, just to name a few.
Somewhat strange to see that the world is on the verge of collapsing but the fan art only depicts fun times & harmony, even between natural enemies and although it was not a requirement to showcase peaceful events.
All that was asked for is how you’d spend your summer ingame, so a picture of your team fighting Fire Lords that start wildfires, Pag Nats that raid the villages at dusk to feast on the blood of humans or Sequoias that empty the villages ponds/wells would’ve been suitable and unique summer-themed entries,too.
